The lights are on
The developers behind Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide have been thinking about zombies on a daily basis for years. Resident Game Informer zombie expert Tim Turi can't stop pouring zombie and survival fiction into his mind. We thought it would be a good idea to get them all together in a casual round table discussion on the rise in popularity of zombies and survival-based gameplay.
Watch the discussion below to hear Deep Silver's Sebastian Reichert, Alex Toplansky, and Nikolay Stoyanov's thoughts on DayZ, Minecraft, The Walking Dead, H.G. Wells, Dead Island, and Skyrim. I hope you enjoy!

Anyone who wants to play DayZ with me, add me on steam- Samzoix
You guys made a fun game, deal with it. So good haha
That was a really interesting and though provoking round table discussion on zombie video games haha
Love me some Dead Island.
That was a really cool interview / conversation. Idk where that whole idea came from about zombie games getting old, but I've never felt that way. If it's a good game it's a good game, and the zombie apocalypse setting is a great setting for many games imo.
Tim:HEY, YOU GUYS MADE A FUN GAME DEAL WITH IT! :D
May the undead genre live forever until we hit it in the head with a bat
i wanna try dayz...
Great video. Dead Island is fun. I liked kicking zombies in the chest and then smashing the heads in.
I'm pretty excited for DI:Riptide, I hope they have idyllic and gorgeous segments like in the first one.
They should talk about warz its a lot more polished than dayz, and more fun.
