The lights are on
In Ni No Kuni, battles are fast and frantic. Ordering around your familiars, canceling attacks, and running around to collect special glims to restore HP and MP easily keeps you on your toes. But just describing this isn't enough - we wanted you to see it in action. So as part of our celebration of our five under the radar games, video producer Ben Hanson and I sat down to discuss and showcase some of Ni No Kuni's gameplay. Get a look at what it's like to explore the world map and see how vital it is that you pay attention to the battle at hand. Also, find out just how adorable those little familiars are - Pokémon might just have some competition yet.

This game looks great. I really enjoyed it when I got to play it at NYCC. Once I understood the battle system, it really got exciting. With this and Tales of Xillia, I'll have my fair share of JRPG goodness next year.
I simply can not wait for this. I was first drawn in by Studio Ghibli's influence in the development, but the battle system looks real good to play around with as well.
Good ol' days of RPGs.
Really wish I had a PS3 so I could play this game.
Neat, the commands and canceling kinda reminds me of Thousand Arms. I like the battle system. ^_^
I was already thinking this game looked cool but hadn't seen a single bit of the battle system. This just makes it way better though, these kind of action rpg with more focus on the rpg systems are usually my favorite kind.
Need. Money. For. PS3.
I wanna play this game!
It's amazing how the in-game animation looks just like a Studio Ghibli film. Very cool to see.
Definitely gonna pre-order this when I pick-up ACIII tomorrow.
I'm expecting great things from this game. Great things!
GTA V and this are the only games so far that I'm looking forward to next year.
