The lights are on
Criterion has taken over EA's Need for Speed franchise, starting with Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Editors Matthew Kato, Tim Turi, and I checked it out in a new Test Chamber filled with tight turns, near misses, and plenty of crashes. And some of those crashes were on purpose.
Kato, Game Informer's resident racing professional, took Tim and me through Fairhaven's streets and alleyways. Don't let the first crash fool you – Kato is in complete control.

casual racist that's hilarious you guys are kooks
I'm a casual racist! Only during the holidays, though.
I'm pretty surprised that the #1 most wanted driver doesn't drive the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport considering it is the fastest car in the world.
I am also a casual racist and I somehow feel that Forza Horizon was more a game that would be for me. I never have been a big burnout guy so the crash cam seemed a bit annoying however I do think that I am more of an arcade style racer. I wish they brought back Full Auto because those style of car combat games are really fun to me. Split/Second almost has my buy but never got it.
Racing games get a big "meh" from me...
i love racing games they are so much fun to play.
IT looks fantastic!
Interesting Test Chamber. The game looks great. I'm more partial to the Forza series, but if I need another racing game to fill the void, I will definitely check this one out then.
This looks pretty good. I want to play it now.
Before this game came out I was really excited about it. I almost bought it on release day but decided against it. On Black Friday the game was on sale new for $25 at Walmart. I made sure to pick it up! I really enjoyed this game and how arcade but serious it was. Yes it reminded me of Burnout as well but I like that. I love the feature of just being able to get into a car without having to buy stuff or move forward in the game. I get tired of racing games like Tim said but this one will have me returning every once in awhile. Good Test Chamber.
