The lights are on
We had a ton of fun recording our Super Replay of the first Mega Man Legends. Cans were kicked, ruins were explored, and servbots were swooned over. But let's be honest: That playthrough had its fair share of rough patches. We frequently got lost and I may have accidentally sold all of our best equipment. That's why we teamed up with Capcom and Capcom-Unity for this very special Super Replay of Mega Man Legends 2. Specifically, Greg Moore, Capcom's community liason, hunkered down in the Game Informer office with us for the entire Super Replay. Greg's Mega Man expertise was invaluable, allowing us to have fun and stay on track. Go figure!
We invite you to join our special guest Greg Moore, Andrew Reiner, Dan Ryckert, and myself as we embark on another PlayStation adventure with MegaMan, Roll, and of course, the lovable Data.

Thanks guys! Loved the show, and great job Gregaman as guest.
You guys did a great job, this is some quality gaming entertainment.
They are both swords. I would take the Crissaegrim or Runesword from Symphony of the Night. Also, Glamdring!
I got lost on the story too after this whole Trigger thing began. And now it's over, no sequel to the sequel. Someday, maybe... at least a new S Replay is on the way.
I think they like it better when Data doesn't talk too.
i really like the Tim Turi ending song
;_; need a sequel....
And now you know why we were mad for the cancellation of part 3. Capcom loves to hate fans and leave us hanging. Which is why I now hate Capcom.
So I'm just now watching Episode 11 and about 42 mins in after Tim falls through the floor and goes to the gravity machine, I noticed that they forgot the "R" and it says "gavity". Kinda odd I caught that lol
What a great Super Replay! So much better than that Cyberia crap!
It wasn't quite as funny as the first MML (only one stamp!?) despite episode 8 being hilarious. But overall it was a great time listening to Greg's insights alongside the GI guys' commentary.
I'd use the animated sword that guy from Who Framed Roger Rabbit had.
Alright Tim you want to know the story? Here it is. This is going to be a little long, so buckle up.
Let's start with some of the characters:
The Master is the guy with the super long hair from the flachback. He is the last surviving human and creator of the Carbons and the Elysium system.
Sera and Yuna were/are Mother Units, which are basically like overseers of the Terra and Elysium systems, respectively. Yuna is the one with the short blonde hair. The body she is in belonged to Roll's mother. She found the body on forbidden island and inhabited it to save her. Sera is the brown girl you found naked on forbidden island.
Geetz and Gatts are like some sort units that assist the mother units as far as i can tell. They have brown human forms and those metal flying dragon forms.
Trigger is what MegaMan was called when he was a purifer unit before he lost his memory. He was very close to the Master.
Now for some background:
Basically all the people on the planet (Terra) are Carbons. They are essentially the same as real people, though. They have emotions, can reproduce, and eventually grow old and die. The Master the "system": a perfect world where he could live free of strife. However, he came to realize that his perfect world was lacking the things that made life worth living, so he told Trigger, who was a purifier unit at that time, to destroy the system and entrusted him with his genetic code before he died.
So Trigger went around destroying the system like the master told him, but Terra and Yuna thought that he had gone crazy and tried to stop him. Eventually Yuna realized what he was doing and stopped opposing him. Trigger and Sera fought and were both severely damaged. Yuna then stepped in and sealed Sera away on Forbiden Island and Trigger on Nino Island. Trigger's body was pretty much destroyed, however, so his body was magically reset into its original configuration (a baby) and his memory was transferred into Data. Professor Barrel later found MegaMan as a baby along with Data on Nino Island and decided to raise him.
You woke Sera up on firbidden island, and she said if you found the four keys you could unlock the Mother Lode. You go get the keys, and then she turns on everyone. Turns out the keys are needed to activate the Carbon Reinitialization program. She goes to Elysium (on the moon) to activate it. You fight her and win, saving everyone. Sera comes to realize why the master had Trigger try to destroy the system and consents to go back to Terra and help shut down what is left of the system, but they are still stuck on the moon.
Well, I think that's about the general premise of it. I hope I didn't make any mistakes, as that was all from memory.
Amazing Replay, Glad to see it went well and Greg was a great addition to the team!
Also, Tim, Message me on here and I'll give you a long, detailed breakdown of the events of Legends one and two, and answer any questions you have.
I am like the biggest legends fan ever, so I'm sure I'll be able to answer any questions you might have.
Amazing replay choice and an awesome game!
My favorite sword is Anduril from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Also, Tim totally wrecked the final boss' second form in no time flat with the Shining Laser.
That is crazy!I couldn't never defeat the final boss!
I WANT THAT TIM SOLO ON MY IPOD, NO JOKE. Make it happen, GI!
You guys should see if Greg, or anyone else at Capcom USA, has a copy of that downloadable "Prototype Version for Mega Man Legends 3" that they released in Japan for 3DS. Do a Replay or Roulette on it.
