The lights are on
We here in the enthusiast press often find ourselves in an information bubble. We have known about the Wii U since E3 2011, but we have always been curious about how much the larger consuming public knows about Nintendo's next console.
This is a far cry from a scientific polling, but we sent associate editor Ben Reeves to walk the streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota and talk to random people about their experience with video games and what they know about the Wii U. Their answers may surprise you.

Great video. Very interesting to hear what people think the Wii U is hahah. It's nice to know that people play games, even if it is casually.
Wow...and the ten people that do know about it came to my Gamestop to pre-order the nice one. =(
hahaha at the end ben does walk like Zak
Of course the public knows about the wiiU! Its preorder sold out in a mere few days...
Just interviewed my wife on the Wii U. She would fit right in with this bunch LOL.
The first couple of times I saw a picture of the Wii U, the picture only featured the controller, and since it had a screen on it, I thought that was the whole console and that it would be handheld. Of course, when I realized otherwise, I felt pretty dumb seeing as how it wouldn't make much sense for the Wii U to be handheld when the Wii wasn't.
You guys should do this for every popular game like AC3 and BO2.
if i worked for nintendo i would be a little worried
Oh kinectimals for the wii? Haha, this was great
this is the exact thing i expected
Ahh Ben is so hilarious!
"Kinectimals on the Wii," "That sounds like Resident Evil."
This works well with Nintendo's recent ads, well done.
What I see here are 10 percent of people who know what they are talking about and 90 percent nintendo trolls
If there was something less than nothing
thats how much this matters
Ben Reeves, I find you endearing and delightful. :D
