The lights are on
Kinect Sesame Street TV isn't the first Xbox 360 game to feature Elmo and the gang. It's not even the first time they've all starred in a Kinect game. This is, however, the most faithful Sesame Street experience out there, as you can see in our Test Chamber.
Chances are, your kids won't ever actually visit Sesame Street. It's not a real place, which doesn't help matters. Also, you may not have kids, which doesn't help matters either. Regardless, Kinect Sesame Street TV lets kids interact with episodes of the iconic show. Or, for the sake of this Test Chamber, it allows Reiner to throw a ball to Elmo (sort of) and learn a few important life lessons along the way. I mostly sit on the couch and talk, so you can look forward to that.
Find all the Test Chamber you could ever want and then some at the hub.
Email the author Jeff Cork, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
my little niece would love this, gotta tell my bro to download the trial or whatever
I have no kids, and seriously don't plan on changing that any time soon, but I really like that you guys decided to cover games for the parents out there who share their consoles with the family.
Good on ya, GI.
Oh and Jeff, tell Reiner to stop being such a sourkraut about kids games =P
If that''s true about Oct 22nd then congrats, and a girl best of luck to you and your wife.
And Jeff Cork, last time I saw you, you looked more "'laxed" (but that was also during the Guinness Contest, speaking of which why wasn't Guinness consumed during those marathons? and how does an alcohol company get into the record setting?), I like this polished and clean shaven look.
I was impressed with the opening where Cooper Monster matched what Reiner was wearing, that was pretty cool (and I'm 24). though terrible name choice on that monster, its too close to Pooper Monster, and my young self would have a field day with that revelation.
The only games I own are Sesame Street brand.
I love this concept. It's perfect for kids. Remember how cartoons like this would ask you to do something as a kid and then just assume yo udid it? Now this allows the kids to actually have to respond to continue the show!
I don't think Reiner is the target audience for this game. Neither am I (nor are, I suspect, most GI readers). Congrats on an upcoming baby girl Reiner!
Commander Riker approves of that beard
Reiner, you look a lot less like Rasputin from that Disney movie Anastasia in this video. Good on ya.
Interesting Test Chamber. I don't mind seeing casual games at all to play with my cousins or when I go volunteer at hospitals.
I want this in the Childs Ward in the hospital! Be such a nice tool for recovery.
I greatly respect this game and what they're trying to accomplish.
Reiner slightly smiles after throwing the ball the second time haha. He likes it!!
I've never played a game that had anything to do with Sesame Street.
This was a very interesting Test Chamber. Beginning with Reiner trying to figure out the whole ball situation was hilarious. This game is amazing for kids! I love that they make games like this for early gamers. Great look at the game. The only Sesame Street games I have ever played was for the PS1 because it was on a demo. Congrats on the baby girl Reiner! Good job explaining Jeff. Always good seeing you. Good Test Chamber!
I used to love Sesame Street as a kid...
oh the classics...
