The lights are on
This week we're strapping on blue and red 3D glasses, saving some babies, and fighting monsters in Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
Regular Replay master of ceremonies Tim Turi hosts, along with Kyle Hilliard, the elusive Matt Bertz, and special guest Brent Weinbach. Brent makes his living as a comedian, hosts a podcast about video game music, and has a new album coming out this week. The rest of us are just lowly Game Informer editors. As always, stick around for the roulette. It's a weird one, but it's one you have probably heard of.

I rented Zombies Ate My Neighbors once. I didn't really care for it. Uniracers, on the other hand, was one of my favorite Super Nintendo games. The A.I. was brutally difficult in the later races, so races were often won by a split-second. It doesn't look like a game that's held up very well over time, but it was great fun for me as a kid many years ago.
Big nostalgia factor on this one: I had Zombies Ate My Neighbors and played it a while heck of a lot. My friend rented the Uniracers for a weekend and we played the heck out of it, just because it was something we hadn't played b4. Reminds me of a time when there were no "bad" games...just what you played.
Why in the world don't we have a next-gen free-roam reboot of this? Greatest game of all time!
Hello replay fans! I myself have a bit of a nostalgia factor, I started a new blog called "Revisited" where I revisit some of the fondest memories of a game I played. Please do check it out! I also have other blogs, and I will be posting every week. Thanks for the support!
I've only seen the commercial for this game.
Nice short Replay this week. Brent did a decent job in this one, I haven't been much of a fan on earlier Replays, but this one was certainly much better.
Generally i like anything the GI staff throws out on replay.
But whenever this Brent fellow is on....
Well, im sure hes doing his very best.
I rented uniracers a few times when I was little. I enjoyed it. And you are able to change the names in the settings/options. I remember because I rented it one weekend and a bunch of the names were bad words.
I entirely wish that this would be made for the Xbox Live Arcade. Perhaps even a sequel with modern mechanics.
It was an awesome game to play on the SNES and I wish to share that experience with my kids without having to hold on to an ancient television to do it.
I probably had more fun with this game playing with my wife then I have with almost any other video game. We could beat the whole thing together, but playing it solo was INCREDIBLY difficult and you pretty much had to hold onto your monster potions and skeleton keys for dear life. Few games capture the genre the way that ZAMN did.
one of the greatest games ever made. just nothing but balls to the wall fun. love it
Ah the memories!
Another great Replay.
I really wish they would remake this game.
One of my favourite games of all time. I've played this endlessly. Sadly, never made it through the sequel, it's a piece of crap.
I remember Uniracers, and the large ad campaign in game mags of the time. I think I rented it, played a few minutes, and never played it again...
