The lights are on
Adam Biessener and Jeff Cork join Test Chamber host Andy Reiner for this look at the console port of Risen 2. You have to see this to believe it. To call the console version a disappointment is an understatement, to say the least. For a more nuanced look at the game instead of the outright mockery in the video above, check out Adam's full review.
More Test Chamber awaits at the hub, so head on over.
This... Is the best game of all time!
Adam is the greatest.
This game wasn't good at all. How could someone who made a solid RPG mess up on a second one? The world needs a good pirate RPG besides Pirates of the Carribean, and unfortunately, this wasn't it.
At least he ain't getting any of the sand in his shoes. Nice Test Chamber nonetheless!
This episode was so funny. Thanks Adam!
This was hilarious! Risen 2 looks really bad. Developer Piranha Bytes should have included a dodge function out of the box--I can't believe they would release a game like this without it. Also, the shadows were terrible and were flickering in and out constantly in this video.
And here I was hoping it was better than it's PC brother... And here I stand dejected and disappointed as well. Oh well, at least it made a funny video... ;-)
Wow that sucks
The only thing missing is to dodge that's really it. I'm 33 hours into it already did over 250 side quests and still loving the game.cim a huge fan of Gothic and this has a lot of the same elements in it. Yes the combat is really infuriating if it's more than 2 enemies at once in the beginning but I'm killing things in 2-3 hits now. It's a pretty big RPG with decent loot, pretty nice voice acting and at least a coherent storyline. The graphics are not as bad as you're making it out to be, no one really trashes fable series and those graphics are just as dated. If they add dodge and fix some of the frame rate issues that happen very rarely id give it a bit higher score. I'm waiting until I beat it but I'm leaning to a 6.75 at least. It is worth trying. Tis a funny video
