The lights are on
During E3 2012, we got pulled into a small dark room and experienced some of the horrors that Dead Space 3 offers. If our early impressions can be believed, survival horror fans have nothing to fear except Dead Space 3.
Game Informer editors Andrew Reiner and Ben Reeves sit down to talk about how Dead Space 3 looks to deliver an honest survival horror experience. Despite the addition of co-op, the series retains a strong horror vibe.

seems good, lets hope its better than the second
Dan Ryckert has no friends? D:
gaminformer posted a video on thier site with dead space 3 gameplay a while ago and a guy said that it can be either coop or single player. depending on witch one you choose, it changes the dialogue and cutscenes. hope this helps.
I haven't played much of these games but does every game on the 360 utilize "cover" mechanics? It just seems like nearly every video game out there wants to be same as the next.
Q: What's not original in any way?
A: Every annoying mash up of a horror title with "Call of Duty" or "Gears of War".
Stop trying to be clever.
Do I nothing to fear Survival Horrors except Dead Space series & Silent Hill series
Never played the series. I've been meaning to but not sure if I'll be able to get to it any time soon...
I hope this installment to the series still has that scary vibe to it and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Plus I can't help but be curious about the co-op. I am looking forward to this game.
Whether or not it is like the others it doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a great game.
Dead Space has never been a horror game to me. It's Action/Adventure with some horror elements thrown in. In short, It's Resident Evil in space. If you want real horror, play Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
DS2 is hands down one of my favorite games of this generation and I'm really watching for any sign that it's not turning into GoW. The coop, combat rolling, cover hugging Isaac is discouraging, but we'll have to wait and see. However the loss of multiplayer may be my biggest complaint. I easily spent 100+ hours online because playing as a necromorph was something special, being able to pack rush a straggler or stalk with a lurker or even snipe with a spitter... MP RIP, I at least will miss you.
I am going to be playing this game alone. It better be scarier than they claim and as a mater of facts, I will not read another article of this game unless it says Collector Edition Announced.
While a small part of my is still a little worried about the game, I am more then ready to get back into Dead Space. Not much has been revealed other then just enough to give us some insight for some things to expect. I am going to do my best to NOT read any other reveals unless it relates to playable demos and the Collector's Edition. I am quite hyped and atm, 80/20 on day one buy.
This might be a strange question, but why does Ellie have a right eye? I thought it was on the end of a screwdriver.
I love Dead Space and cannot wait for the next game in the series.
