During E3 2012, we got pulled into a small dark room and experienced some of the horrors that Dead Space 3 offers. If our early impressions can be believed, survival horror fans have nothing to fear except Dead Space 3.

Game Informer editors Andrew Reiner and Ben Reeves sit down to talk about how Dead Space 3 looks to deliver an honest survival horror experience. Despite the addition of co-op, the series retains a strong horror vibe.

Just like Rockstar did with Max Payne, EA decided to ditch the "Isaac is psychotic" angle. It wasn't the marker that made him crazy because he went after Nicole before coming into contact with it.

This is such great news. The horror factor is part of why I play & love Dead Space. I am hoping it is still scary. I might try to entice my fiance to play Carver.

Co-op was supposed to be in the original Dead Space, so it's cool to see them going with their original ideas.
And I see that Reiner is proudly displaying the signed Beastly game. :P

Thanks for the confirmation, guys! I'm looking for that classic Dead Space with a few new bits here and there. Later I might check out co-op. Anyway, can't wait!

Despite my reservations towards the addition of Coop (nothing against coop, just glad to have the option to not have an AI partner following me around), but I have full trust towards Visceral Games.

Jesus, Leave Dan alone, poor guy wasn't even on video to defend himself. It's like picking on the crippled kid since he's an easy target. We all know he's the slow one in the office, but we have to respect him and his awful love for USA jumpsuits.

Why does everything has to have multiplayer these days,Dead Space 2's multiplayer was pasable in my opinion but at least it stayed apart from the campaign I loved so much, but now the campaign will also have multiplayer,it's Resident Evil 5 all over again!!!. I want to fight necromorphs alone,not with another player or a dumb and cumbersome NPC.
