I'm still on the fence about this game, but I'm sure Activision will put another one out next year with some improvements next year because that's what they do.
I haven't played the game yet but it doesn't force you to see where everything is on the map, you have to hit RB, right? If you do, don't whine about it being there because you don't have to use it.

Have the DLC levels from THPS3 been confirmed?  

I bought this game the other day and my THPS nostalgia is not fulfilled I need more. I have a game cube too, so I might just go buy them for it. especially 4, 3, and underground. They were the best.

Great Test Chamber! I didn't like the trial, but after watching this I might get this.

I played the demo and was really unimpressed. The controls just felt weird and stale. I guess I'm just used to Skate and how satisfying it is to do tricks and get an awesome line going.

Never a big Tony Hawk fan, but my roommate from undergrad used to play it all the time...I remember many nights of severe button-tapping and mashing being heard all over the apartment.

The four Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games were great. After that, the series went off the rails. This new version doesn't have enough of the great maps from the first four games, plus it's missing the revert from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (apparently going to be added in DLC) and split-screen multiplayer.

The videos on GI always play really choppy for me. I don't have the fastest internet, but most sites don't give me a problem like this one. Any suggestions? Should I try a different browser or something? I use Chrome now.

I couldn't believe how short the demo/trial is for this game. Like 1.5 minutes or something.

Even though the game has issues I still want to buy it. It's nostalgia's fault.

I think I'll pick it up when it hits the PS3. I really loved the original games. The physics look a little wonky, but I'll suffer it, I think.

Awesome look at Tony Hawk HD. Not sure if I plan on buying it yet though.

I was wondering if it would be fun to go back to this... luckily the Dpad on PS3 isn't awful.
