Test Chamber – Spec Ops: The Line

by Andrew Reiner on Jun 27, 2012 at 05:55 AM

Sand meets Heart of Darkness in Yager Development's Spec Ops: The Line. If you've played video games for the last 10 years, you probably associate the Spec Ops name with bargain bin throwaways. The Line redefines this troubled series, and emerges as one of the more interesting shooters in recent memory. The big hook is how it injects moral choices into the framework of a standard shooting experience. Matt Bertz and Dan Ryckert joined me for a look at The Line. Rather than starting from the beginning, we jumped into the third level, where a sandstorm tears through a skyscraper, and the battle waged is America versus America – a fight Dan doesn't want to accept.

Check out Matt Bertz's review of Spec Ops: The Line. If you have some time on your hands, sit back, relax, and catch up on Test Chamber episodes at our hub.
