Daedra, Werewolves, And Vampires: The Creatures Of The Elder Scrolls Online

While our month of coverage for The Elder Scrolls Online is over, we wanted to share with you a section cut out of our combat video that focuses on the monsters. Pulling from Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, some of the creatures inhabiting the online world of Tamriel will be familiar to fans of the series. Watch the video of the creature combat designer and lead gameplay designer explaining which monsters will be making a return and in which region you can fight them.

  • Cant wait for this, glad to see all the badies and ghoulies are making the trip fully fledged.
  • Looks great! Cant wait!
  • Meh.
  • Hi guys im so skeptical about this game I'm gonna rate this article 1 star cuz it'll make me feel better harghh!
  • Really hope it doesn't suck
  • This interview was SO awkward to watch...first of all the two guys on the right of the frame never spoke, which was weird, and secondly, that long shot into cubeland is just blech.
    Not your finest, GameInformer.

EDIT: I realized after the fact that this was cut from another interview where the two guys on the right do in fact speak. My bad.
  • I just finished the molag bal quest for skyrim. damn it.

  • so they did a Elder elder scrolls online but they cant do a fallout online wtf
  • If somebody decides to make an Elder Scrolls MMO, and neither Elder Scrolls nor WoW players are around to care, does it make any money?
  • Why, OH WHY, did they have to water-down TES to a WoW clone?!?!?!
  • She's hot. I've no idea what she said though.
  • This game is going to be a massive failure just like The Old Republic. When you alienate your core fans you lose.
  • I just can not back this. The Elder Scrolls as an MMO just seems wrong.
  • I think we have seen enough sequels, rejuvenations, and branch off, reinvented series. I would enjoy a new story. We need a MMO about something new with new objectives and new lands to explore. Not a single player experience forced to be something its not. Too many expectations, little chance that it's delivered.
  • Ooh that was a very stiff and uncomfortable interview. The content has me pretty excited though. Sounds like ESO might have the largest bestiary of all the games so far.
  • focousing on the story in a mmo? yeah...sure..good luck with that.

  • WOW! Pretty exited for it!
