The lights are on
Back in 1995, Warner Bros. launched an all-out marketing assault surrounding the release of Batman Forever. Music videos by Seal and U2 that featured clips from the movie were all over MTV, a dedicated comic was made, and McDonald's offered several limited-edition glass mugs featuring characters from the film. Of course, video games were part of the marketing package as well. Games based on the movie came to 16-bit consoles and the arcade, the latter of which found its way to Playstation in late 1996. We decided to give it a try as this week's episode of Replay, and it's certainly something...special?
Watch below to see Andrew Reiner, Tim Turi, Jeff Cork and myself relive the glory of the Schumacher era of Batman.

that was amazing...kiss me. great episode guys.
I'd like to put in a suggestion for a replay of Karate Kid on NES.
Batman Forever didn't look... AWFUL... considering the fact that it had nothing to do with Batman besides the name. The second game on the other hand... don't do a Super Replay on it. Please.
Yeah, we kinda need a Super Replay here. I need to know how Cyberia ends...
Wow. Video games have really come a long way....
Hilarious replay! The Batman Forever game looked actually fun, but the roulette didn't. I liked this replay a lot because it felt like the old style of when you guys first started the show. Getting really into a random selected game is just what made replay great, but also keeping games that are popular classics and that you have had history with is also something that I really enjoy. You guys should do a replay by actually picking random games in the vault. Have someone be blindfolded and pick a game out haha. Good replay, very funny and entertaining! Good choice in the roulette.
God why would Dan press down then right. Sometimes i just dont know about you Dan. Anyway great episode and you guys CANNOT do a super replay of this until you do one of Sentient, please.
i got batman fever.
Wow I remember Cyberia its been a long time I hope they do a super replay of it
We can only hope Batman meets Batman in an alternate dimension, because Bat-Mite isn't cutting it.
I remember playing a Batman Forever game that was in 3D. Was there a different version on the Playstation?
When will you guys do a "Batman Month", or a "Superhero Game Month"? Every weekend, a different Batman - or Superhero - game. There are so many to choose from! Some are good, some are bad, but looking at them all, and all the differing visions on the same character(s) back-to-back would certainly be interesting. Looking at the Sunsoft NES Batman, the Konami SNES Batman Returns, the Acclaim arcade Batman Forever, and the PSX Batman & Robin (that was it!) or the Xbox Batman Begins every weekend for a month would be bizarre. Maybe toss in stuff like Ubi Soft's Batman Vengeance (before Arkham Asylum, probably the best Bat game) and Wayforward's Batman: Brave and the Bold for some Replay Roulette...it could be real cool.
There should be theme months on Replay, is what I'm saying :)
I have never laughed so hard!
It's really funny going back to this after watching the Cyberia super-replay... that opening fmv gives away most of the game.
