The lights are on
Earlier this year, we held a tournament that would determine our next Super Replay. Eight Game Informer editors chose a game to fight for, and I landed on the original Half-Life. I beat Ben Reeves in the finals, and earned the right to play through the entirety of this classic for the first time on Super Replay.
Watch below as we step into the shoes of Gordon Freeman during our first Super Replay of a PC game.

Finally! Suuuperrr Reeeplay!!!
Oh boy, I've been looking forward to seeing this.
I just wanted to point out that when talking about games that ripped off the opening sequence you mentioned Halo, but not Halo 2, which actually has the EXACT same opening sequence where you are riding through a facility on a railcar.
I remember waiting for this to come out on the dreamcast all those years ago (apparently they already had a strategy guide for it) but it never saw the light of day, and that really blew donkey balls
You have to see freemans mind! www.youtube.com/watch. Its about "the intermost thoughts of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a 27 year old physcist and neurotic individual. This man is one of the funniest comentators of all time.
Awesome, I just cracked open a beer and looked at the front page and it's here. Played this a few times, so I'm watching for the entertainment value of a new player's experience. Good luck.
YESSSS you should do the whole series lol
I was about to curse Dan's name when he was selecting the difficulty. Who the hell wants to see easy mode?
"Wake up, Mr. Ryckert, wake up...and play this game."
I love Half-Life too much not to watch this...
Whoa whoa whoa... Is that story about Time Crisis and shooting the tv true?
Ive never played Half-Life but all the talk leading up to this super replay really makes me want to.
Love the intro. That zombie in front of the computer has always disturbed me.
My body is ready.
This is going to be torturous...
