The lights are on
Our second Test Chamber episode of the week focuses on Rockstar Games' Max Payne 3. It's been quite a few years since we last checked in on Max. Turns out, he isn't doing too well. He hasn't quite shaken his demons, and no amount of booze or pills seems to help. Dan Ryckert and Tim Turi joined me for a look at Max's turmoil in the early stages of this new shooter. We talk about the story; show Bullet Time in all its glory; and pop pills to ease Max's pain.

Max Payne 3 is so far the best RockStar game that i've ever seen and it was one of the greatest story i've seen. Max has come to be more of a real character and i like the way it is presented. the presentation of Max's general expressions is great because of what he has gone through and the action is really great and smooth. i'd give this a 9.75 because of everything Rockstar has actually pulled off. The fact that do have max guard himself when diving into a wall and that he recoils from it is a really nice touch. The destructible environment is beautifully played out. The way if you shoot a person in the arm and they hold the wound is greatly played out, and the way the bullet hole stays on your suite is nice to see. When Max has a secondary weapon it's nice that he holds it instead of pulling it just out of his pocket.
To tell you the truth, i thought that Rockstar would have made this game sub par but it's my favourite game of this decade so far
Looks freaking awesome, I was thinking about skipping this game. Hell no!
Loved this game as well, glad you added it to Test Chamber. I only got to finish the first disc though because I rented it from Redbox. I will defiantly pick it up sometime in the future. Great show guys!
I had already planned to get this game but this video just makes me want it sooner. Great test chamber, really showed what the game had to offer.
