The lights are on
Faith and .45 (PS3, Xbox 360) – Deadline games’ biggest claims to fame are Total Overdose, Chili Con Carnage, and the two downloadable Watchmen games that released alongside the movie. Nothing particularly groundbreaking or exciting. It did however have Faith and a .45 in the works, which along with a sweet title, sounded pretty awesome. It was basically Bonny and Clyde the game. It was to take place during the depression and you play as a couple trying to outrun an evil oilman while going on a bank-robbing spree. Unfortunately before the game could release, Deadline Games filed for bankruptcy and never found a publisher for Faith and a .45.
Gears of War: Exile (Xbox 360) – We don’t know anything about Exile, other than that it was a Gears of War game. Many assumed that it was the rumored Gears of War Kinect game, but that comes purely from the announcement that there would be a Gears of War Kinect game, and then Epic Games filed a trademark for the Exile name shortly after. The game was technically never officially announced, but it was officially canceled.
Gotham by Gaslight (PS3, Xbox 360) – Day One Studios, the developer behind F.E.A.R., began work on Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, but the game was canceled. It was to be based on the comic series of the same name published in 1989 that saw Bruce Wayne fight Jack the Ripper in a late 1800s Gotham City. Some art and a video tech demo with distracting cape physics made its way to the web, but that’s likely the most that will ever be seen of the game. It’s hard to imagine another Batman game out in the wild competing with the Arkham series, but it almost happened.

I was really pissed off about Dirty Harry. I bought the movie after hearing about the game. There's a group on Facebook that wants to bring it back (Bring Back Dirty Harry The Game, yes that was a lame attempt at "recruiting"). I doubt it'll get anything done but one can always hope.
Gotham by Gaslight and Lord of the Rings White Council are super sad cancellations
oh man i pre-oder all of them
I am quite content with Gotham by Gaslight not being released. We do not need a Steampunk Batman game. Batman doesn't need any gimmicks. It just needs to be good ol' Batman.
you can add frame city killer and project offset
Yeah, I wondered what happened to a few of these games. Nice to see a list of them all. There were a few games there that would have been quite interesting had they come out... Metalocalypse the Dethgame...haha that would have been funny.
That's unfortunate. The Pirates: Armada of the Damned looked and sounded like it could've been an amazing game. too bad it never saw the light of day.
Harker looked so amazing....
Forgot Witcher for xbox 360 the original was planned for xbox 360, but got cancelled because CD Projekt Red decided to work on the sequel.
I was looking forward to The Agency, and Mega Man Legends 3.
And no heavenly sword two was another letdown, I could've swor n that Gow redemption teaser was for it until the trailer came out.
I remember reading about Indiana Jones, I Didn't believe it at first, was kinda exited about it. I never noticed the Wii/PS2 version.
Why is Duke Nukem: Forever on the list?
Duke Nukem's on the list because the new Duke Nukem isn't Duke Nukem anymore, though I have a serious question, what's up with MechWarrior: Online? That's not Mechwarrior: Tactics is it? Because if it is then why tell people to sign up for it like 2 months ago...
i hope that there are at least some people who thought duke nukem was awesome, i did
If there was someway a developer could make the battle room from Ender's Game actually work really well, I would buy it in an instant. Especially if it was all online. I want my battles to be in null gravity! Sadly, I think it would be an extremely difficult concept to pull off well.
how about eight days? that game was announced sometime back in 2006, haven't seen or heard of it since.
Oh man.. that heavenly sword art totally made me hard reset.
