The lights are on
Update: We've added a few games and corresponding entries to our list of cancelled games. The new items on the list below have an orange star next to them (*), or you can click here to read all the new entries at once. Enjoy! Or don't, because these games will likely never release, so we will probably never get to enjoy them.

Sometimes games don't make it to the finish line. Sometimes a game's cancellation is a huge disappointment. Sometimes, we don't even know a game exists until it gets canceled. Other times a game gets canceled so early in development that we never even hear about it (these obviously won't be included on the list). This is our evolving database of all the known games that have been canceled for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, ans Wii. Many of the games on this list haven't received official cancellations, but the evidence points to their disappearance. If they suddenly surface we will be more than happy to remove them from this list. If a game is suddenly canceled, however, you can bet it will show up here.
We want to keep adding to this list as much as possible, so check back time to time. Maybe the the sequel you are most excited about will make the list soon!

I was really pissed off about Dirty Harry. I bought the movie after hearing about the game. There's a group on Facebook that wants to bring it back (Bring Back Dirty Harry The Game, yes that was a lame attempt at "recruiting"). I doubt it'll get anything done but one can always hope.
Gotham by Gaslight and Lord of the Rings White Council are super sad cancellations
oh man i pre-oder all of them
I am quite content with Gotham by Gaslight not being released. We do not need a Steampunk Batman game. Batman doesn't need any gimmicks. It just needs to be good ol' Batman.
you can add frame city killer and project offset
Yeah, I wondered what happened to a few of these games. Nice to see a list of them all. There were a few games there that would have been quite interesting had they come out... Metalocalypse the Dethgame...haha that would have been funny.
That's unfortunate. The Pirates: Armada of the Damned looked and sounded like it could've been an amazing game. too bad it never saw the light of day.
Harker looked so amazing....
Forgot Witcher for xbox 360 the original was planned for xbox 360, but got cancelled because CD Projekt Red decided to work on the sequel.
I was looking forward to The Agency, and Mega Man Legends 3.
And no heavenly sword two was another letdown, I could've swor n that Gow redemption teaser was for it until the trailer came out.
I remember reading about Indiana Jones, I Didn't believe it at first, was kinda exited about it. I never noticed the Wii/PS2 version.
Why is Duke Nukem: Forever on the list?
Duke Nukem's on the list because the new Duke Nukem isn't Duke Nukem anymore, though I have a serious question, what's up with MechWarrior: Online? That's not Mechwarrior: Tactics is it? Because if it is then why tell people to sign up for it like 2 months ago...
i hope that there are at least some people who thought duke nukem was awesome, i did
If there was someway a developer could make the battle room from Ender's Game actually work really well, I would buy it in an instant. Especially if it was all online. I want my battles to be in null gravity! Sadly, I think it would be an extremely difficult concept to pull off well.
how about eight days? that game was announced sometime back in 2006, haven't seen or heard of it since.
Oh man.. that heavenly sword art totally made me hard reset.
