The lights are on
This week at gameinformer.com is devoted to the changing face of Halo 4's multiplayer and we are starting things out by talking about the competitive side of things. You might have heard that 343 Industries is interested in making some changes to the classic Halo formula. We sat down with lead multiplayer designer Brad Welch to talk about the new emphasis on story, customizable loadouts, and the new and updated modes for Halo 4. Watch the video below to learn more about what your competitive multiplayer experience will look like in Halo 4 and stay tuned to the site throughout the week to learn about the new co-op experience called Spartan Ops.

Really now all I want to know about Halo 4 multiplayer is more about the armory, creating load outs, and if Living Dead is coming back to Halo 4 live.
Sounds like a lot of the updates are to attract more of the CoD crowd.
Forge? I have heard NOTHING of Forge. I want to see advanced even further as it seems to be the only element still unique to Halo... I've dreamed of being able to build insanely crazy stuff in Forge but all we've really been able to build is solid structures. Not much for moving objects... I want to see crazy stuff. Insane stuff.
i want to know if there is new weapons and at least one new vesicle perhaps a motorcycle or perhaps a pelican that wold be awesome

Im really excited about Halo 4, but all i hear about is the multiplayer in Halo 4. What about the campaign??? Thats what halo is known for not its multiplayer...
I hope that they did not ruin one of my favorite video games of all time. I always went back to halo when COD was boring, the Spartan 4 helmet looks dull, DMR and BR in the same game is ok...i guess, and well, not to be harsh but...my favorite game seems like another COD to me, Halo Reach...you will have to do for now, sorry 343, you ruined it for me.
It sounds good to play.
343 is doing an interesting take on the multiplayer. I am very intrigued by it. The progression system is something I'm still not sold on. I don't want this to turn into a CoD multiplayer experience, so I hope the progression system doesn't end up following that style. Nonetheless, it's great to hear it's pretty much following the traditions while adding a little flavor.
if theres invasion slayer im in but im still new to halo i only own halo reach but im not a n00b
MEH.. Don't reeally care. As long as Halo 3's servers are still up you won't see me near this game. Sounds like they are trying to change too much for too little gain. It's Halo for crying out loud! It's one of the most succesful multiplayers this side of COD.
this game is a great addition to the halo series the gameplay looks sick all new ranking system? whhhat???!!!
