The lights are on
As the co-creator of NBA Street and co-founder of Propaganda Games, Josh Holmes may sound like an odd choice for the creative director of Halo 4. Starting out testing sports games at EA (click here to see this bonus video where he talks about his worst day in the industry), Josh is a 15-year veteran of the gaming industry and he has worshipped Halo for 10 of those years. We asked him to share his first memories of playing Halo: Combat Evolved, what he sees as the pillars of the Halo series, and what changes he would like to make to the formula. Watch the video below and let us know what you think in the comments below.

This looks like an awesome game, something my boyfriend and I can share even though I'm not as into Halo as he is. I know what I'm getting my boyfriend this Christmas...
I don't mean to judge the man without seeing his work, even more so since I'm insanely impressed with how Halo 4 is coming along thus far. But to some hardcore fans this could be seen as really poor PR move, saying our creative director is the co-creator of NBA Street. These are two totally different ballparks. Being able to do a sports games and then jump on board one of the biggest franchises in gaming history as the creative director is huge change of pace and huge task to under take. I think this would have been better left out on their part and left up for fans to research, I think it may cause some players views to be too biased before even playing the finished product
A lot of people are ranting on about how they hate 343 Industries and how they won't buy Halo: 4 because it's not made by Bungie, and all that stuff. GIVE THEM A CHANCE IDIOTS! I just wanted to make that clear. 343 CAN make Halo: 4 great, possibly better than Bungie. Just give them a chance! Thank you people.
Awesome. Josh is an interesting choice for creative director on Halo 4. He does seem genuinely excited and interested in the Halo franchise. I do wish him luck with the franchise, he has a lot to live up to.
