The lights are on
A few weeks ago, we revealed Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III to the world in our latest cover story. Since then, many of you have naturally had questions about the exciting American Revolution setting, new protagonist, and gameplay changes. Now's your chance to ask the makers.
We'll take your questions straight to the team at Ubisoft Montreal and get the answers you crave. Obviously, the developers aren't going to spill the beans about everything in this podcast (pro tip: don't bother asking about multiplayer), but If you have any lingering questions about the information we shared about the game in our cover story or subsequent online coverage (click the banner below to check it out), share them in the comments section below. We'll select the best queries and ask them during in a special-edition Game Informer podcast with the dev team later in the month.

How much of a focus is going into desmond's story this time around? Will it be a significant chunk or will it be akin to how much time he has played in the past games?
Will he be in combat, the whole point of putting desmond in the animus aside from finding the pieces of eden was to make him a better assassin. How is that going to play out in modern day, especially with the kind of weapons that are available? (automatic guns)
What will be the "ratio" of open to dense areas, is this game gunna be more assassins creed or will the stealth almost take a page Splinter Cell
How will you balance the gameplay concerning guns?Obviously this is the first game in the series that takes place in a time where firearms are the primary weapons of an army, yet Connor seems to rely on melee attacks which would be a disadvantage in open battles.
Can we expect to learn how Connor's ancestors arrived in the Americas?
Will we be going to France and or Great Britain? (All in all, are we going to other countries.)
There are screens for the game where you can see Connor wearing more traditional clothing underneath / along with his Assassin suit. Does this hint at more stealth based gameplay where we might not always be using the assassin hood?
will this game have continuation games of the story like from ACII to AC Brotherhood then to AC revelations, or is this going to be the last game, end of story, and world is saved/destroyed.
Will we still be able to "blend", or will we use more of a visual form of stealth like in Batman: Arkham City and Splinter Cell.
How is the platforming going to work? In Italy there where many tall buildings close together. How is it going to be in america?
Will Conner have double hidden blades, or was that just an Ezio thing?
Will you be doing modern day missions as Desmond?
What mistakes do you think were made by the teams who made Brotherhood and Revelations, and how do you intend on not making those same mistakes again with ACIII?
What role is Desmond playing in AC III?
Will the seasons continue to change after the game is beaten, so that the paths that might be closed can reopen during that different season?
