The lights are on
A few weeks ago, we revealed Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III to the world in our latest cover story. Since then, many of you have naturally had questions about the exciting American Revolution setting, new protagonist, and gameplay changes. Now's your chance to ask the makers.
We'll take your questions straight to the team at Ubisoft Montreal and get the answers you crave. Obviously, the developers aren't going to spill the beans about everything in this podcast (pro tip: don't bother asking about multiplayer), but If you have any lingering questions about the information we shared about the game in our cover story or subsequent online coverage (click the banner below to check it out), share them in the comments section below. We'll select the best queries and ask them during in a special-edition Game Informer podcast with the dev team later in the month.
Email the author Matt Bertz, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
What should we go in expecting? Should we be ready for a natural proggression, a leaner version, or something totally its own?
What will we be collecting in this game? And will we actually have some sort of payoff for collecting them this time? Hopefully it won't be like the data fragments in Revelations, because that was lame.
What percentage of the game will you play as Connor and what percentage will you play as Desmond?
I'd love to know: Will there will puzzles like the glyph riddles in AC2 again? I LOVED those and, with America being the new location, it would make sense to me if those little conspiracy games were included again. Thanks!
Will we still be playing as Desmond outside of the Animus, and if so or not, will there be other playable people other than Connar and Desmond?
I have been with your sires since the release of AC 1 in 2007, and its awesome. So what I'm wondering is simple. The length of this game's storyline. AC 2 had a good size single player, will AC 3 be that size or maybe even longer? Thank you so much!
Regarding the present, will we play more as Desmond, and maybe even meet other Assassins or actually face Abstergo and the Templars? Will the Assassins come to know of the facts shown in The Lost Archive DLC [SPOILER] About Lucy's true allegiance [END SPOILER]? And as I have read [SPOILER] Daniel Cross is a member of the Templar Inner Sanctum under the operations brand. Will we face him sometime in the game? [END SPOILER]
