The lights are on
A few weeks ago, we revealed Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III to the world in our latest cover story. Since then, many of you have naturally had questions about the exciting American Revolution setting, new protagonist, and gameplay changes. Now's your chance to ask the makers.
We'll take your questions straight to the team at Ubisoft Montreal and get the answers you crave. Obviously, the developers aren't going to spill the beans about everything in this podcast (pro tip: don't bother asking about multiplayer), but If you have any lingering questions about the information we shared about the game in our cover story or subsequent online coverage (click the banner below to check it out), share them in the comments section below. We'll select the best queries and ask them during in a special-edition Game Informer podcast with the dev team later in the month.
Email the author Matt Bertz, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
Firearms were the most irritating part of Assassin's Creed: Revelations for me. Are they going to be improved in any way to make them less aggravating?
Did Jesper Kyd make the soundtrack for AC III?
will there be any more pieces of eden revealed
how will traversal and free-running work in the wilderness?
Is there going to be anything different about the PC version?
What additions or modifications will we see to the Hidden Blade?
How will we fast travel around the Frontier?
How long will we play as a young Connor before donning Assassin garb, hidden blades and all?
Who is the musical composer for AC3?
Are there any other media tie-ins planned, like Lineage for AC2?
What are your (present dev members) favourite features in AC3?
Will we see Connor become a Master Assassin? If so, how long will we play as a novice/mid-ranking Assassin?
How will Connor be able to move through large scale battles without being hit by bullets, cannonball or flying bits of debris?
On a bad-assery scale of 1-10 (bearing in mind Ezio and Altaïr's cool way of getting the job done), where does Connor fall?
Is Charles Lee the bad guy?
Will Desmond don his hood? If this hasn't been planned: put it in the game in the months of tweaking ahead!
All for now, to anyone reading this and considering posting questions: check the Wiki and the forums to make sure pointless questions about already released information are not asked!
Peace.
Is there more of an emphasis on actual assassin conduct than open, flashy combat?
I personally am much more curious about the events outside the animus.
My question is:
How much of the game concerns Desmond and the gang in the modern world? will Connor be occupying most of the game in the animus with Desmond only getting short bits in between, as was the case with the other installments, or will Desmond be seeing a larger portion of screen time than previous installments?
Will the hook blade or hook blade like features be in AC: III, like the hook & run, hook throw, or ect.
Will a loading screen pop up when you travel from the Frontier to New York/Boston or will New York, Boston and the Frontier just be one gigantic map where you can roam around without wasting time with load screens (i.e. Skyrim, Red Dead, Brotherhood).
How long will it take us to finish the game? (including all missions)
