The lights are on
Reiner's been in a Mass Effect 3-induced daze this week, but I was able to bring him back to Earth long enough to join me for a look at another big EA release: the snowboarding franchise reboot SSX.
I spend 25 minutes dodging Mass Effect brags as I explain why I was so excited for this reboot and why I found it frustrating. You'll also get a good look at both the old-school trick and race gameplay of SSX as well as the more problematic new survival courses.
Hit the slopes with us below, and then check out the further adventures of Reiner and Phil on our hub page.
you can add your own soundtrack, at least on ps3 idk bout xbox
Reiner, the office jerk, the most hated man in the room. Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled Mass Effects!
Anyway... yeah, how bout that snowboarding.
It looks good enough for me to at least check out.
I was definitely surprised by the lowish score, but I played the demo and I thought everything about the game was super fun, so I'll be picking it up eventually.
I would like to hear some of those Kollar memes Reiner was talking about.
Best snowboarding game ever!!
I love the new video player. Thanks for updating, gameinformer.
Omg that was sick!!!! This video is sick! I hope SSX hits the 3DS. I'm on a 3Ds craze.
It looked ok but I agree with Phil, the Survival courses look dumb.
When the image of Earth popped up, I immediately thought of planet scanning. I'm glad Reiner thought the same thing so I didn't feel quite so alone.
Looks good, I'll check it out!
I actually preordered SSX after I played the demo because, like Reiner, I have been wanting a game that I can rack up points in and replay trying to beat the latest scores. Currently, I am sick and unable to concentrate enough to play Skyrim but now I can drop in and out of SSX's multiplayer trying to place on the leader boards. It's a breath of fresh air and I love it.
Phil needs to reevaluate his review, that looked fun!
it's good to see that the online pass for this game isn't ridiculous. i can see them becoming tolerable if they're implemented like this and don't detract from the core experience of the game. the way it was handled with arkham city had me worried
dont have cash to get it but looks like a good title
