The lights are on
Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and just want to punch the planet? That's every day for Reiner and me, so we seem like the target audience for Capcom's new off-the-wall action game.
I play the first 20 minutes of Asura's Wrath while Reiner comments, but I'm using the word "play" lightly here -- most of it consists of watching cutscenes and sometimes tapping buttons. That's not to say it's bad though. In fact, Asura's Wrath may surprise you with how intriguing and awesome it is.
Watch the video below and then sit back and enjoy a few more Reiner and Phil vids on our hub page.
I love how excited Reiner is about this game. It looks pretty awesome. I hope these guys get to make a Dragon Ball Z game like this. Would be pretty amazing.
Great.... Another weird Japanese game.
you get to puch a planet in the face!?!?! I WANT THIS GAME!!!!!
This looks awesome! Punching a planet in the face seems epic! Too bad I don't have money to spare.
this is a new genre, a watch-em-up...not worth 60$....
For anybody who is going to wait for a price drop before picking this up, I urge you to wait for the price on a new copy to go down and not a used copy. All you're doing when you buy a used copy is giving all your money to Gamestop or wherever you bought the game from. By buying a new copy, your money is going to the developer and publisher. I've played Asura's Wrath and loved it and so would like to see more from the developer, CyberConnect2. That won't happen if everybody is buying it used. We need developers like CC2 who are willing to try new things but if no one is supporting them then we will inevitably be left with nothing but an endless series of Call of Duty games.
L. A. M. E.
So that's totally what Lavos should've looked like in the Chrono games.
I don't like anime, but the art in Asura's Wrath is topnotch and appealing even to me. I wouldn't pay $60 for this game, but once it drops down in price I might pick it up.
Played the demo, not really that great in my opinion... it's more cutscene than game, and if i wanted to watch an anime series then i would do that, but this is supposed to be a game. It's a ton of quicktime events and weird nonsensical combat. I just ended up feeling really frustrated because i felt so out of control with everything that was going on. But if you are okay with these kind of things then i guess the game still holds value, like Reiner says.
I'm still very unsure about this game I think I will hold off
I am really hoping for a part 2. The story is insane as are the graphics and game play.
Gawd...I can't even watch this whole video.....sooooooo boring...why would I pay $60 to WATCH a game!
This game was pretty interesting and well worth the rental price. I might buy it many moons from now when it is $20 or less and play it trhough again, but there is no way it is worth the $60 price tag.
I like the new video player, it is actually running the videos at a smooth frame rate.
Whoa... Thats a really cool video.
I'm not to into this game. I think I'll play it eventually someday.
Not worth $60 imo but I'd love to check it out :]
Looks pretty sweet! I'll have to add it to my wishlist...
All I can say is "meh" for this. I wasn't impressed with the demo at all. It seems like you actually play this less than Heavy Rain. If I do ever pick it up it will be when it's cheap.
