The lights are on
The PlayStation served as a training ground for many developers looking to tap the new market for 3D games. One such game is MediEvil, a goofy, Halloween-coated action game that put players in the greaves of the deceased knight Sir Dan. Does the 1998 gameplay hold up? Or is it showing signs of decomposition?
Join your host Andrew Reiner, Ben Reeves, and myself as we dust off this PlayStation relic and have another go. We confront hordes of over-caffeinated zombies, conquer piles of broken glass, and engage in a harrowing battle with a stained glass golem.

I loved this game back in the day
This was a great game, it had plenty of cut scenes, in game voice when you talked to characters, and some challenging puzzles. My favorite level was the pirate ship in the first medievil.
Great replay as always guys! I remember seeing this game in the store as a kid but I never ended up playing it, looks like it would have been fun.
Also,I understand you guys are trying to change things up for season 2 but please go back to using the black sidebars, these blue ones are just distracting and not necessary.
I do not love nor hate MediEvil. But the game, D, that you mentioned, is a scar on my childhood from which I will never heal. By that I mean, it scares the crap outta me and give me nightmares to this day.
Abother awesome replay, thanks Reiner! Tim rocks, too!
B. Reeves = not funny.
he's like the complete opposite of anything funny.
He's starting to actually hurt my ears...
Awesome choice for Replay with MediEvil! I played this as a kid and didnt get to far but it was always a game I went back to, to play. The Roulette game was weird and terrible, I would never play that. But yes good choice in Replay and can't wait for next week. By the way, I wouldn't mind seeing MediEvil as a Super Replay.
Juggernaut seems aggravating and super-creepy.
i think you guys have the best job in the world! i wish i could get paid to play old video games!
At 4:28 it reminded me of the third harry potter game where at the end of each lesson you would go down a giant slide to collect jellybeans
I still have my PS one disc for this game, but it's so damaged that it won't play past Cemetery Hill. I have long embarked on a search for my memory card in hopes that all the other levels worked. I envy you SO much right now.....
seen it
Juggernaut seemed pretty interesting in a rather slow loading Mist kinda way. I would hope it would have 'bad ends' to puzzle screw ups that lead to a gruesome end. Might be worth another look down the line for a Super Replay.
I used to play this game on the PS1
