The lights are on
During the console wars of the early 90s, Nintendo was represented by Mario and Sega had Sonic in their corner. While these faces were the most famous, Sega had a popular platformer of their own before Sonic took off. In this week's Replay, we take a look back at a series that has essentially been abandoned as the industry moved forward.
Watch below to see Andrew Reiner, Bryan Vore, Phil Kollar, and myself take a look back at Alex Kidd In The Enchanted Castle.

This exists!
Good old rock, nothing beats that!
Early/Bonus/Leaked/Secret Replay? Woo!
I played Alex Kidd for the first time a few years ago, and it was pretty meh. This seems to be the case here too.
Good episode though!
MWAHAHAHA!! My foraging has come to help everyone! GO ME!
it's tuesday no?
Submitted Feb 7, 2011? Great Scott, it's traveled through time itself!
wow this is awesome! good thing i subscribed to them on youtube or would have never found this!
Seems like Dan forgot it was 2012, which is why this was shoved way back onto page 6 instead of the front page.
Was this supposed to be secret, or is the 2011 post date a typo?
That was awesome, but weird.
It's like a hidden replay.
I saw it on page 6 as I was looking for the Super Mario Bros. 3 super replay and I was like "Oh I don't think I've watched this one. I'll watch it now and see if I remember it" and then...it was an all new replay. Pretty weird...
You tricky bastards. Putting the wrong date on this and burying it in the hub. Thanks for the extra Replay though!
You have no ho! You'll never win!
That's right, throwing some Overblood 2 into regular Replay.
Thanks for the random Replay! Is there any reason for the random posting? Not complaining, just wondering.
the original one was way more fun, memory serves me anyway.
