Watch Us Play The New Modern Warfare 3 Maps

Activision is planning on a nine-month DLC schedule for the massively popular Modern Warfare 3, and it kicked off this week with two new maps. Elite members can now download Liberation and Piazza, and we decided to take them out for a test run.

You can see the new maps in action below. While non-Elite players can't access these new battlefields yet, they'll be made available as part of a larger DLC package in March.

  • I'm only watching this to what I imagine is Dan cackling while owning everyone.

  • Don't own these maps yet.  But from what I can see I will like Liberation.  Well I'am a run-n-gunner w/ the type95 so I will probably like Piazza aswell.

  • So does this mean PS3 players will be waiting several months for this DLC?
  • The liberation map is a Battlefield 3 map..... hahahaha
  • That first map looked pretty basic and generic, but the second one looked fun. I dug the verticality of it.

The video was kind of sad though. Your team lost on both maps! Oh well, at least the commentary was great as always.

  • I missed lunch, I am so hungry, reading this I can only think about ordering a pizza.

  • Only noobs don't use Blind Eye.

    j/k

  • Waste of money in my opinion

  • yea and thats ***. the real big call of duty fans will have 2 months to learn the maps holes and hiding spots so they can camp there a ss off and when peopl dont feel like paying $50 for something we wont use. when we do get the maps we are already behind and getting sniper shot from a camper in a corner! UNFAIR ACTIVISION! ALOT OF RESPECT LOSS FOR YOU!! YOUR BECOMING EA!
  • WOW OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. I'm glad that there are people stupid enough to stay entertained by this endless money pit of a (bad) fps franchise. Me on the other hand will be buying the new ips and experiencing new adventures and will actually be surprised and enthralled by them. Jealous? Haha.
  • Horrible level-design. A three-year-old could have made this...
  • lol dis is da same dam gaame as tha 1 last yr, nd tha 1 befor dat. i m so proud of myslf tht i by games i enjoy.

cuz whoever spents there own hard erned mony on sumthin they enjoy, iz jus wron.
  • I'm just curious, are all of these videos being mirrored from the youtube uploads? I'm glad they're all available on youtube since the site player suddenly stopped functioning for me a couple weeks back.

  • Loved the Star Wars: Old Republic talk during a MW3 video! :)

  • People still play this crap? It looks like a 2005 game.
  • Seriously the maps made me sad, i like call of duty but after playing Battlefield 3 i just cant lower my self to MW3.

  • I should really give these games a chance. I never did get into the online FPS thing. I loved SOCOM II on PS2 and am really enjoying Uncharted 2 and online (notice the third person theme). Maybe I'll check and see if Modern Warfare 1 and 2 servers are still up (the only ones I currently own) to brush up on some skills).
  • I miss the dives from Black Ops, too, Dan. Nice maps!

  • Played these maps in MP and Spec Ops, pretty good stuff.  Definitively different build than most of the maps that came with the game.  I like Liberation quite a lot, and Piazza is a lot like that Modern Warfare 2 map, I think it was vahalla or vavilla, IDK how to spell it.

  • CoD is fun. IDGAF about what anyone else says. I just played a match with 5 of my friends last night where we all got Riot shields and camped behind the Burger Town counter in Arkaden. I laughed so hard I'm sore. When I play (MW2.5, crap, *** game) I have fun. If you people can't, then you don't have to play it. Just leave it alone and play something else. It is sad that you can't stand something you dislike to succeed.
