The lights are on
Sometimes they're entertaining, and sometimes they make you want to throw your controller across the room in frustration, but any way you look at it, glitches are an ever-present part of the gaming experience. Despite thousands of hours of play testing and millions of lines of code, almost no game is safe from the occasional technological breakdown. We combed the web to find video evidence of the most egregious and laughable errors. Here are the most notable gameplay glitches of 2011, plus one lifetime achievement award for a game that's featured the same annoying glitch for years.

When you watch a hockey game, you expect thunderous slap shots, players flying down the ice at breakneck speeds, and bone-crushing hits. You don't expect to see a guy go in for a little back door lovin' in front of a crowd of 18,000. This public display of affection brings new meaning to the term "stick handling."
As long as Bethesda has been making open-world role-playing games, players have been getting stuck on rock formations in mountainous regions far from civilization. When a game has as much content and such a vast continent to explore like Skyrim, bugs undoubtedly come with the territory. But you'd think after five entries Bethesda would have found a replicable solution for this all-too frequent dilemma. Congratulations Bethesda on your lifetime achievement award!

I had a glitch in Mass Effect 2 in where this lady in the Citadale was asking for information for the news. Her arms went crazy and then the camera changed to my Shepard, he was giving her this dirty but confused look.
The Dead Space 2 glitch reminded me of Assy McGee.
Poor Fifa. I loved that Dead Space 2 glitch! Just incredible. Who else remembered Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Until that 1:20 point in the Madden video, I didn't think there was a glitch. Wii actually is making a patch, even though that guy said they don't make those. That Last Stand Perk glitch, that's just classic. Oh come on! Don't tell me you have no glitches for Modern Warfare 3!!!
I encountered a funny glitch in The old Republic where this one guy was leperachaun sized lol. and he was acting all tough it was hilarious
Haha love these! The article made me crack up. Thanks!
some of the glitches in the Fifa vid were kinda scary especially the first one lol but i love seeing glitches as long as they arent game breaking or annoying
All these glitches have some merit but nothing compares to an old classic like Missingo.
I have definitely raged from getting stuck in the mountains and not having saved the game very recently before that.
Glitches. Can't live withou em.
The Amazing Horse glitch in Skyrim is the best.
In regards to the Elder Scrolls Lifetime Achievement award, I don't understand why Bethesda has not yet made steep terrain easier to traverse. It's a total pain to have to climb steep hills and you'd think that this would be something that was easy to remedy. What gives?
These are pretty great. XD
It was working for a while, but now it says, "Please visit the site to view this media" and now I can't see it. WTF?
Well, that's coincidental. The last page of this article is glitching (for me at least). The videos are replaced with a message telling me to visit GameInformer to view the media.
Time to clear cache and try again. :/
I can't see the last two pages. :(
There's a really creepy glitch in Battlefield 3 where if you go prone and then go right ip to a dead persons face. It is the creepiest thing I've ever seen.
Man I cried at the FIFA 12 glitches. Omg, they were hilarious.
The Glitchies are glitching for me. It doesn't let me watch the videos on page 4. I even refreshed it.
