The Big Gaming Remake Guide

Remaking classic titles with enhanced features and uprezzed graphics is all the rage these days and keeping track of them gets out of hand quickly. Here's a guide to help you remember which remakes are already out and which ones are on the horizon.

The following lists focus mostly on titles that released recently, but includes a few older favorites and some that are on the way. The data includes the name of the remake or collection, the platforms, and which games are included. Some games were omitted because they are no longer available (the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games and Double Dragon). Click on the links for full reviews or more information on the collections. If we did a review back in the day and it's doesn't have a direct link on the site, the numerical score is listed. To read the text from the review, go to the review archive and enter the title of the game. Some games appear both on disc and through download services. These are listed under the "On Disc" section for simplicity's sake.
