The lights are on
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is one of the most underrated games of all time, especially if you're talking to myself or our video producer Ben Hanson. That's why we decided to give it some attention and sing its praises via a new Super Replay. Watch below as we try to convince a rotating cast of guests of its greatness.
Note: The first episode is lacking sound effects due to a technical mishap.
Episode 1 (Guest: Andrew Reiner)
Episode 2 (Guest: Bryan Vore)
Episode 3 (Guest: Ben Reeves)
Episode 4 (Guests: Tim Turi and Kyle Hilliard)
Episode 5 (Guests: Jeff Cork and Ben Reeves)

Loved this game when I had, however I never beat it. Glad to see how it ends. This kind of screws up the Mario canon though, no? Aren't the Mario Bros. supposed to be from Brooklyn and get transported to the Mushroom Kingdom?
Also, how can Bryan Vore not recognize the Muppet Babies as real Muppets? They were in "Muppets Take Manhattan" and "Muppet Family Christmas" for frak's sake!
This is awesome, I used to love this game.
The walking faster Michael Cera scene was actually in Superbad not Juno. I actually like Michael Cera, he may be a bit of a typecast actor but he was funny in Superbad and Arrested Developement (which, like Juno, has both him and Jason Bateman) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was actually a really cool action/comedy hybrid.
GREAT! Except the visuals just don't look that great to me, as I have no reminiscent goggles clouding my vision. Zelda: A Link to the Past looked better and I didn't play that when it was fresh either. I think Rayman Origins and Braid have spoiled me maybe. BTW, HE DIDNT SAY HE HATED IT, BEN! Just that it's a good game, but not Super Mario.
Another Super Replay successfully finished :)
By the way, Tingle is in Skyward Sword, sort of. There's a Tingle doll on Zelda's desk.
New Super Replay very soon? Perhaps it is Overblood 2? Awesome! Oh, and then that game Sentient that freaked Dan out. That was the best!
Awesome Super Replay, thanks for taking me back through Yoshi's Island, it was very enjoyable to watch.
Alright what's the next one? Overblood 2?
"Are you hosting this for real? Yuck."
Haha, so mean. I thought Ben did a fine job hosting!
Sentient or Hybrid Heaven should be a Super Replay in the future. I think that Super Replay has hit a good groove with good and bad games, so after the Overblood 2 Super Replay there should be a good game like Metal Gear Solid or Super Metroid and that should be followed by one like Sentient or Hybrid Heaven.
if you guys start a new super replay do mega man ledgends 2
Another awesome Super Replay down. Hanson makes an awesome host, by the way.
Thanks Ben and Dan for another awesome Replay!
Do a Super Replay of Oblivion!
Great episode but it's sad to see that it's already over. Anyway, I can't wait till the Overblood 2 Super Replay on New Years Eve. Is the cast going to be the same people that were on for the first Overblood SR or did u just throw some people into the fire without them knowing anything about the first one? And Dan, from the first moment I heard ur dad talk in the "Dan and his dad play Heavy Rain" video, I immediately thought he sounded like Jeff Goldblum
Great Super Replay guys. One of my favorite Mario titles.
By the way, Ian Malcolm (Goldblum) survives the first book and is the main protagonist in the second. He is forced to use a cane in the second one due to an injury he received in the first. And thus ends my Jurassic Park nerd-out of the day.
great super replay guys, this really helped me get through finals and also learn way more about you guys than perhaps I wanted to know...
