The Completionist: Every Dragon Priest Mask In Skyrim

Skyrim is full of stuff that you can pick up, but it doesn't have many collectibles in the traditional sense. The set of eight Dragon Priest masks are an exception, and they're some of the best items you'll find in your adventure. But, does anything awesome happen when you collect them all?

Join Matt Miller and me as we reap the reward for all the time we spent fighting dragons and exploring ruins in search of these masks. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but it was totally worth it. See what happens in the video below.

If you want to see more Completionist videos, check out our entries for Batman: Arkham City and Assassin's Creed Revelations.

  • that was cool, i didn't find this yet. but i did find a metal glove somewhere, and it asks me to find three rings for it or four. it doesn't tell you to find the rings, just says insert ring on fingers. weird, i came across it on side missions
  • I can't wait to get this game. I think it shall be a xmas gift. :)

  • I have Morokei, Krosis, and Rahgot currently.... Morokei was the hardest in my opinion so far.... However, he is not the hardest person I have fought.... The guy you have to fight in order to complete the Peyrite daedric quest.... don't just rely on magic...
  • Hmm, did not expect that. I have the Morokei mask due to the College's quest line, but that's it. I will now start searching for them.

  • 73 hours in and NOW I here about this? I found about 5 of them from the priests and only kept Morokei. Now I heard there's a final ultimate mask? **BRAAAHHHH**! D:

  • I've never been into these games, but this one has me interested. Keep me posted, GI!

  • I sold a mask not knowing what awesome quest was tied into it because I needed cash for the next tier of mage robes, and it didn't stick in the shop's inventory :c

  • Wow, that's awesome. I wasn't going to get the masks, but now I totally am

  • Holy crap. My character looks identical to the one in the screenshot. :O

  • I sold one and now I am ****** because I can't remember where I sold it
  • all except 2 finally

  • There has to be at least 6 Skyrim articles on the first page lol.

  • I only have two D:

  • I have all 8, I just haven't placed them all yet. I thought it was funny how you can only get 6 because the 7th is during the College of Winterhold and the 8th is during the main story.

  • I am really disappointed to hear what the final reward was for collecting all the masks as I had 3 but one of them got lost in a bug in the game and so I lost it on my current playthrough. It was a blue one (serious magic regen and some permanent magika boost). Yeah I gave it to my caster follower as I don't use magic often enough to take serious advantage of it with my current build. Anyway, through a section of the game that I don't want to spoil, my follower had their gear reset to something else and the game wiped all gear they WERE wearing completely out of the game instead of just unequiping what they had. No fix for it that I have been able to find *sigh* Also, from what I see that this mask can do... does anyone think that the ultimate mask would be a great addition to a melee followers gear?
  • I love the extra support this game is getting, its a real shame when a game this good and breathtaking doesn't get coverage it deserves.

  • I didn't watch it, but I noticed a link between the Dragon Priest masks and the quests: they all come from a friend/courier.

I am going through them now, and enjoy the look of them. They look sweet with the Vearmina robes too.

  • Oh my god. I love this series so much! It's like Spoiled! without actually spoiling plot details!

  • I would love to get all eight and finish this quest, in fact I have seven of them. The last one I need is found in the College of Witherhold's questline and my "Revealing the Unforseen"quest is bugged so I can't go past that so....

  • Nothing like the feeling of traversing a dungeon you are to low level to be in but refuse to lower the difficulty, because your a MAN, and after defeating a bunch of Draugr Dreadlords over the course of 2 hours of hit and run you finally meet the dragon priest and once again refuse to lower the difficulty so you dual wield the health and fire spells that you got at the beginning of the game because your a warrior and did not give a *** about this so called magic, but now realize the importance of it, so you spend the next 2 hours duking it out with this magical powerhouse and eventually succeed. Best feeling in the world, especially when it levels up your destruction and restoration by about 15 levels.
