Ubisoft Montreal discusses the Rainbow Six legacy and how it's bringing the Tom Clancy tactical shooter up to speed in the highly competitive shooter market.
In the three years since Rainbow Six Vegas 2 released, the first-person shooter genre has exploded to an unprecedented level of popularity. To storm back into contention, the team at Ubisoft Montreal knew it had to raise the bar of expectation for its tactical series. In this video, creative director David Sears discusses the Rainbow Six legacy, his past working on the SOCOM series, and the improvements his team hopes to bring to the series with Rainbow 6 Patriots.

Definitely sounds good. I loved R6 Vegas and it's sequel, and I'm glad this franchise is making a return. I really like the idea of the characters interacting with the environment more heavily! It sounds like this game is headed in the right direction.

This some how reminded me of playing all the classic Rainbow Six games, now i want to go play them again.
i dont even need to see what its like im sold never played the others but they looked interesting
been playing rainbow six 3 it holds up pretty well exited for this series
I love me some Rainbow 6 and hopefully after hearing this Clancy's team puts together an amazing shooter! The market is full but, if anyone can do it, it has to be one of the originators......
Sounds like it is going to turn out really well. He is very passionate about this game and I like the direction they are going with it.
Can't wait! That video just blew me away. I really hope they follow through on the story - I feel like it's been a long time since we've had an FPS that had a real plot that made me really feel emotion.
