The lights are on
For our 200th issue a couple years ago, the staff at Game Informer met for hours to debate on the top 200 games of all time. Many factors were involved in our decision-making process, and at the end of the day one game stood above the rest. The Legend of Zelda has influenced the world of gaming like no game before it, and we named it the #1 game of all time. All month, we've been giving you tons of Zelda coverage to commemorate the upcoming release of Skyward Sword as well as the series' 25th anniversary. We're ending this month of coverage with a complete playthrough of the game that started it all.
I'll be hosting throughout this Super Replay, and Jeff Cork will be at the controls as we hunt down Ganon. We'll have several editors stopping by to join us on our quest, and you can see it all below.

Didn't know this was on Gamecube.
I've actually recently been playing through this game on the GBA. I also own Zelda II on the GBA
Do a Super Replay of Final Fantasy 8!
Hey, I finally finished watching this!
That ending was awesome!
me and my cousins have zelda races frustration and insomnia ensue!
The three fingers that Ben is holding up is sign language for three. If you hold up three fingers like most people do to show three then you are actually saying six.
I guessing we're gonna get it done in three episodes...hahaha
Legit. Hahah thats all I hafta say.
why didnt you guys get the magical key? it would have made this game ssssoooooooo much easier
haha wow, finally. This was a great super replay. I just love these shows. The Legend of Zelda is one of my favorite video game series too, I have to say the 64 games would have to be my favorite just because they were made so well and have become childhood memories. I wanna say great job to Jeff and Ben Hanson. Since they were the ones to really pull through this long. Also I guess ill say good job to Dan just because he set through all 10. haha, oh and I looked up that Japanese dancing doll scam, that is really weird. Ben Reeves detective thing was hilarious too. I would really like to see Zelda II on the list of a super replay. I mean I know its long but just because no one every gets the chance to see the game get beat, and I know many of the Gameinformer staff hasnt beat it so I think it would make a great super replay game. Maybe sometime later this second season. Thanks for all the times you guys put into these, I love them and watch every single one! AJ
BTW was there no secret word to remember like usual Super replays to show we watch through them all?
Finally watched everything. All I can say, is that I hope that when Bizarre Detective is complete, you post a full version of it here on GIO.
awesome keep it up
Great job guys. And why is it that I can remember 90% of the secrets from this game but can't remember jack about a movie I saw last night? Also, Bizarre Detective was awesome... oh and gunshots.
When Ben held up 3 fingers, he was doing the sign language word for three. So he was correct all along.
saw all of this one
Watching this as part of my Super Replay binge. I decided halfway through to make a rendition of the "studded vest with lobster claws" boss. Shame it's too late for the t-shirt contest. http://i.imgur.com/EBHtL.jpg
