Basically, Jeff Cork, Ben Reeves, and myself drool over the fantastic finale involving Link's sword and Ganon's,.. well, if you haven't seen it just take a few moments to watch this episode of Spoiled.
Oh, and spoilers:
Spout off in the comments below what you though of this game's climax. And if you didn't bother beating it or even picking it up to begin with, tell us why.

Yay! I love getting information on games I've never played before; this is so awesome!
We need more Jeff Cork!
Windwaker was a GREAT game. I feel sorry for the gamers who had an issue with the toon graphics and didn't play it.
I love Wind Waker, but the ending makes me cry so much D: I cry every time I finish the game, it's the only game I'm not happy once I've beat it. I don't even like to beat it. It's such an epic game, though, one of my favorites.
Sad to say I got most of the treasure and tri-force pieces or whatever you're searching for and never got to the final dungeon, I lost the game after moving. :(
Windwaker is my favorite zelda by far. The art style was such a bold move for nintendo to take, and it just had the ability to appeal to such a wide range of people. You don't see that in games anymore. Developers now try to hit a select target audience, and I think zelda has (with the exception of Zelda II) always gone beyond that
Ending was so cool. My favorite Zelda game by far. The sea theme fit so well with Zelda's history of exploration. GAH just thinking about it makes me want to play it.
To be honest, And I'll brace myself ahead of time for all the hate I'll get, I didn't find WindWaker that great, I didn't really like the art direction, Story was okay, didn't like the characters, bosses we're too simple, and the boat rides took FOREVER.
HOWEVER, The ending was great and I understand why people like the game, It is a great game, I just didn't fancy it as much as I did the other games.
Wind Waker probably rates as my favorite Zelda game next to Majora's Mask. I'd say I've played through every Zelda game at least two or three times if not more, save for Twilight Princess. I've only played and beaten that once.
Majora's Mask ending was the best (of course I consider it the best game ever). Especially true when you do the Kafei and Anju sidequest. One of the best scenes in a video game IMO. It's just a huge sense of relief when you stop the moon and save everyone in Termina. It holds so much meaning because you actually care about those characters as you get to know pretty much everyone and the stuggles they faced through the ordeal. No other Zelda game holds up to Majora's Masks characters and depth of story IMO. Wind Waker is great, but Majora's Mask is eternal :)
I had the ending spoiled for me before I got to finish it, so its impact was forever lost. For Zelda games it is usually the journey that is more memorable to me then the ending.
I never owned a Game Cube, so i never got to experience it. Maybe i'll pick it up and play it on the Wii
for me, wind waker's ending is one of the best endings i have seen in a videogame, it was satisfaying, emotional, epic, like no other game, the wind waker is one of my favorite zelda games ever and i really really recomend to anyone who want's to play an amazing game
Yeah you definitely don't remember the other games, if you think that's the first time he stabbed Ganon in the head. He stabbed right in the face in Ocarina of Time, after slashing him twice in the face. They pulled it back, by sealing him right after, but he stabbed him the face lol. Zant's neck break in Twilight Princess was also pretty brutal. Ganon is toughest mofo ever, he can take a hell of a beating. He got impaled like 4 times in Twilight Princess and took it like it was nothing.
who'd have thought a game with such a cartoony look would have such an epicly awesome finale. second only to MW2s in terms of sheer awesomeness IMO.
