The lights are on
We hope we're not the only ones with a soft spot in our hearts for old commercials, both good and bad. We've decided to cut together, in chronological order, some of Zelda's most memorable TV spots. I'm sure that you've seen a couple of these before, but I promise that there are some new gems from around the globe shuffled into the mix. The video serves as a nice reminder of how far we've come both in the evolution of the Zelda series and the history of marketing, check it out.

Geeze, this has to be the one series where the american commercials are weirder than the japanese ones.
I remember seeing the Oracle of Ages/Seasons trailers as well as The Wind Waker Trailer both in theaters. My brother and I ended up getting kicked out of the theater for making too much noise (event though the following trailers was for some stupid chick flick that no one cared about).
Also, I agree that the US Majora's Mask trailer was the best one and is in general the greatest game ever. I smell a Super Replay for Majora's Mask. It must be done! In 72 hours no less!
It's really interesting to see the cultural differences in the ads and the evolution of marketing in general. Also good to see they got legit by Majora's Mask. And Robin Williams is the man.
Wow. I don't think I have ever laughed this hard about a G.I. article(besides maybe the Sacred COw BBQ):D Can't wait for more Zelda coverage.
Love how they ripped off highlander and He-man in one scene.
I am ashamed to I only remember a couple of these. I personally think the first Ocarina of Time commercial was the best.
