The lights are on
With the announcement of the Wii U at E3 2011, Nintendo proudly showcased a video that had third-party developers heaping praise on the Wii U system and the unique properties of the touch-screen controller. Generic platitudes aside, we wanted to speak with developers about the actual process of getting their game up and running on the Wii U. The team at Vigil Games is one of the first studios to port their game to the new console, and general manager David Adams and technical director Colin Bonstead were two of the three main programmers that dove deep into the hardware of the Wii U. Watch the video to learn what it's like to code for the console, work with Nintendo, and what the Wii U controller will bring to your experience of Darksiders II.

Schweet
haha in probably makes pancakes!!
Man they are making Darksiders 2 sound really cool on the Wii U.
In this day and age the ps3 STILL has *** ports, good to hear from a developers stand point that this wont be a problem
This sounds dope. I am excited for this system. It sounds like if developers put even a minimal amount of time and resources into utilizing the controller then I think Wii-U versions could be the way to go on games like Darksiders 2 and Aliens Colonial Marines and even further down the line with GTA V and Hitman Absolution. I have an Xbox 360 but achievement points and shoehorned Kinect gameplay doesn't beat how the Wii-U could improve a game. I honestly think the Wii-U is going to be a really good and durable platform. I will still get PS4 or the next Xbox but I think those two won't take such a big graphical leap this time. It will be more about online services, kinect/motion controls, and exclusives titles more than horsepower. Sure they will get better graphics but I don't think it will be so great that 3rd party developers can't make the same games for the Wii-U and with that controller I think plenty of people might opt for Wii-U versions of games if the controller is utilized in clever ways that improve gameplay.
have generaly high hopes for wii u only question with games like this 1 is will it come out late (the game) on wii u vs other 2 or will it be all at once n if its late why would i want to wait i like the ideas they have for it tho but ya know
Dont forget the e3 showing was coming from xbox and ps3
