Dressing For Death: A Darksiders II Loot Gallery

One of the biggest game-changers for Darksiders II is the addition of loot to the game's formula. Players will be able to change both the stats and physical appearance of the main character, making this sequel a much more customizable experience. To demonstrate some of these possibilities, Vigil helped us put together the following loot gallery.

Using this web app, you can choose which pieces of this singe set of stylish purple armor you want Death to wear. You can also equip him with a hammer or his traditional dual scythes. Enjoy playing around with it and just think of the full dress-up possibilities when Darksiders II comes out next year.

  • Very cool.

  • This is definitely cool. I can't wait to see the variety of changes to the appearance of Death when the game releases. I really need to replay the first one, I'm getting so hyped for the sequel.

  • I hope they have some kind of New Game+ in this game. I always like to be rewarded for multiple playthroughs. I will still love this game though even if it doesn't have new game+ just like i did the first :)
  • ive never played Darksiders is it a good crappy or awesome game?
  • I clicked the button that looks like a cuirass.....and it gives Death a skirt. Okay. I guess they don't want to cover up his pecs.
  • Death looks so cool

  • That hammer looks very bad ass.

  • awesome, can't wait anymore for this game.

  • The armour looks pretty ***. I can't wait to mix and match.

  • Didn't get Darksiders 1. Hopefully with all the kinks ironed out of this next one, it'll be a lot better. Color me interested.
  • That was a cool. That hammer is gonna wreck some sh*t

  • Looks alot like skelator
  • Thanks Vigil and GI!

  • Well, that was slightly disappointing... only one set D:?
  • This month's Gameinformer has gotten me very interested in this game. In fact, it has gotten me interested enough to try out the first one.

  • SO HOT

  • I didn't really care about customizing war's appearance in the first game and I dont care about death's in the second game, Darksiders isn't like oblivion, or fable or any other RPG where you're trying to give your character your tastes and preferences. It's a comic-esque story with defined characters, a little customization is a nice side option for some gamers, but I don't really see it as anything special that adds to the game.
  • World of warcraft all over again..... me likey
  • Whoa. Death's got a big wardrobe!

  • I have to say, the CG model of Death looks MUCH better than the drawn version.  Can't wait for next year.
