In celebration of the recently announced Starhawk, we decided to go back to an earlier game from many of the same developers. Incognito Entertainment made such great titles as Twisted Metal: Black and the 2007 PS3 Warhawk, but looks to have disappeared as many employees have split off to Eat Sleep Play and LightBox Interactive. Now LightBox has taken up the mantle of Starhawk, but their legacy still includes 2003 PlayStation 2 title War of the Monsters.

Watch as Andrew Reiner, Dan Ryckert, Jeff Cork, and myself bash each other through buildings as various kooky monsters.

I've never heard of this game before...thanks for the look! Also, any reason Zone of the Enders isn't showing up under the Replay Hub? Not tagged or something?

I never played this game but I had a friend who used to talk about it a lot. I always thought someone should make a current gen game where you play some sort of giant monster tasked with destroying the world. It would be awesome if done correctly.

I never watched Transformers or G.I. Joe growing up either. Also, both of these games looked pretty terrible.

Holy crap I love this game. I used to rent it pratically every weekend, and almost had a heart attack when I saw it at Gamestop. I thought I was the only who had ever played it. Funny that Reiner mentioned that Agamo's flaming head reminded him of Sweet Tooth, because if you had a save file of Twisted Metal:Black, Sweet Tooth is a secret skin for him. And Reiner is just trying not to enjoy it.

I remember loving this game. So much fun with a bunch of people. Excited to watch this.

Edit: I'm surprised GI gave it such low numbers. According to wikipedia it was one of the lowest scores it got. Reviews were positive overall.

The Godzilla game looks way too sluggish.
