The lights are on
On this week's show, we take a look back at one of the Gamecube's best games and Nintendo's most surprising franchise reinventions.
Andrew Reiner and Dan Ryckert join me in playing through the first 20 minutes or so of Retro's at-the-time-totally-shocking first-person take on the Metroid formula. Tune in to see how well it holds up and hear plenty of reminiscing about our thoughts on this turn for the series and where we'd like to see it go next.
Oh, and stay tuned after the main show for another Replay Roulette classic.
In the mood for more Replay? Me too. Join me at the Replay hub to see all of our previous episodes.
this game and metroid fusion combined took up my entire 14th year of life!! god the prime series was so kick-ass! you guys should do vectorman
Marble and Jacks are definitely not the same thing. Don't forget pogs! I don't think I ever played Metroid Prime, but I have Metroid Prime 2. Weird. I hope they make a collection of the old Metroids to play on a current gen system. Bouncy glass physics!
If my last comment on this title creep any of you out, I am sorry i just finish a marathon of fight irrating beasts a couple of hours ago. I had to let out some where. :(
Not to be totally nerd fanboy freak but i just thought i would let you guys know that (if memory serves correct) you don't start out as fully powered Samus ever in any entry before this one. Super Metroid i can 100% guarantee you start with nothing as i have not stopped playing it since it came out! lol i don't mean to sound like a know it all but i rarely get to share my knowledge and yes i know it's way way late but eh.
One of Gamecube's "Best games" huh, that's not saying much. It's no small wonder why about the only really good games for it were RE Code Veronica, the Zelda Collector's edition, Twilight Princess and Metal Gear Solid.
thisb game brings back memories bad memoris but memories nonetheless....although it was fun...
This Replay was a great idea. I remember getting this game when younger but never getting into it. I found the game to be rather annoying or just not a game I wanted to play with having other games. The roulette was neat looking. Honestly wouldn't play it. I wouldn't mind going back to the Prime series though.
oh the suitmanity
I've come to the conclusion that if Tim Turi's not on a replay, it's not worth watching.
