THQ has been pretty open about wanting Homefront to be its next big franchise. While our review from GI's Matt Bertz found the game lacking, Reiner and I decided to put it to the test.

In this 30-minute look at the beginning of Homefront, Reiner reveals his new method acting style of playing games. And before anyone asks, please note that neither Game Informer, Reiner, nor I condone the actual use of real drugs. We're paid professionals who are method gaming, people. Don't try this at home.

Oh, we also don't condone strapping a bomb to a baby under any circumstances. Enjoy!

    Oh man, this is gonna be good.  I'm not so sure about Homefront, so this will give me a good, comedic glimpse of it, I think.

    GI.. no thanks you've already wrote a stinging truth review regarding THQ's major disappointment.. all i can say.. Hey THQ... NEXT!!!!!! i'll wait for the price drop.. or even worse to just make THQ even more upset.. I'll buy a used game!

    One of the guys said that the graphics are not on par with Black Ops....That was the joke of the day. Black Ops graphics are horrible!!!! Either they are a fan of Black Ops or Activision has some money invested in G.I. So they can continue getting good reviews for a horrible game. I'll pick Homefront any day over Black Ops.

    I'm a couple hours into this game's single player and I have yet to encounter any of Bertz's complaints.

    This game is lacking a lot, and at one time I had a chair running down the hill shooting at me... It was pretty weird, so I shot and killed it.. But this game don't suck but it's just not good either...
