The lights are on
Final Fantasy XIII is a 50-hour-plus RPG endurance run. We understand that you may have tuckered out long before the gaming conclusion, so we’re here to spoil it for you. FF XIII’s ending was an odd one, and it’s definitely worth watching even if you don’t know what the hell is going on with the story; even if you played the game in one sitting, you might not know what’s up with the story. If you want the ending spoiled for you, we’ve got it all right here along with our own opinions on theconclusion.
Join Joe Juba and I as we show you the very long ending of Final Fantasy XIII and have some thought-provoking discussion. If you’ve already seen the ending, skip ahead to 31:35 to see just the discussion.
Bonus game: Can you count how many oddball faces Joe makes?

Glad I'm never going to buy this game.
Are you guys even allowed to show that much content lol?
I got tired of reading the endless pages from the Data Log just to barely understand what's going on.
There was a decent amount of content after finally being able to roam freely, but there wasn't much of a reason to finish the storyline besides getting the achievement.
I am still playing but my hopes of having a great time story wise are out the window... i just don't want to leave it behind... i want to finish it and never play it again now....
man and to think part 10 was so great in the ending! I actually cried on that one...
Hey Joe, would you sell me the sweater off your back? I want that so bad. Not so much because it's yours, but more or less because that thing is *** sweeeeeet!
while i personally really liked the game (wasting an unfathomable amount of time getting the platinum) the story could have been better, like, it was pretty good while they had no idea what the bad guys wanted, but i personally think that instead of the bad guy trying to get you to kill something to achieve his plan, it would have been much better with a "IM SO POWERFUL YOU CAN NEVER STOP ME NOW HAHA I WILL RULE THE WORLD" type of bad guy would have been better
oh yeah, and more characters besides the party members would have been nice, like it was pretty much the 6 party members running around with hardly any side characters to help the story
and also, i think a bit more closure was needed in the end of the game, like yay everything is ok, snow and sarah will get married and stuff and dajh is ok, but what is the state of cocoon? and hope dad? and will the humans stay on cocoon or will they colonize on gran pulse?
lucky for ffxiii the graphics and cutscenes were beautiful, the combat system was great, and the story still ended up being entertaining
50 hours, that's sounds exhausting just saying it.
wtf just happened why are there 4 orphans and which one is the real orphan?
I'm close to beating the game for my second time, and I'll tell you right now that I'm not playing for the story.
All the soapy cutscenes were so tiresome the first time, I'm flat-out skipping every single one in my second playthrough.
But the combat is well worth it, and the game really is solid.
Also, there's Lightning... I'll just say that my girlfriend is feeling jealousy for the first time and leave it at that.
I've tried to get into the final fantasy games but they're so convoluted and frustrating.
BTW you guys look nothing like how I pictured you
That was the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
personally i thought the gameplay was great, the environments beautifully rendered, and the story line very deep, as many black holes in the plot there may be. i didnt find any part about the game disappointing per say, but there are some things i wish were explained. i beat the game in about 51 hours (grinding+gameplay+ extra grinding for upgrade purposes+reading data logs). reading the data logs about the world just explains the world. if you can piece together the lore sections itll help u find a spoiler or two as what to expect. however, there are a couple things i still dont understand despite everything the game forces you to find out on your own. the most being how in gods name did fang and vanille just fuse to become ragnorok out of the blue, with all their emotions and morals considered. after seeing that i figured why didnt they "accidentally" form that God-Fuse when fang was being held by orphan and put an end to them there and then do the same dive-through-cocoon action to save it. the same thing wouldve happened in the end, and im pretty sure when they were holding hands at the end they didnt know something like that was gonna pop out either so it couldve happened at any moment lol. #2, i still dont understand why Titan couldnt be a boss xD
