The lights are on
Popping in an old game and talking about our memories is always fun,
and that's why it's a blast doing Replay every week. However, some
games are so iconic that a simple 20-minute episode just wouldn't do
them justice. That's why we do Super Replay, a feature in
which we play through the entirety of an all-time great. No
edits, no skipped stages, no speeding-up the video...this is the entire
game experience, beginning to end.
While we already delivered what Nintendo fans were clamoring for -- a Super Replay of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past -- I wish to bring something to horror fans who have fond memories of
playing their PlayStation alone in a dark room. In 1998, Capcom
perfected the survival horror genre with Resident Evil 2. It
capitalized on everything that made the first game great, while
polishing graphics, story-telling, weapons, and environments. Wandering
the zombie-infested streets and Police Station of Raccoon City is a
gaming memory I'll not soon forget, and it's one one wish to share with
you in the form of a new Super Replay.
What character will we play as? How long will it take? Can I win
without dying? Can I beat the game faster than Dan's five hour playthrough of A Link to the Past? All these questions and more will be answered in our

Part 2 anohter good episode
Dan, don't feel bad, I LOVE this series! And I've never beat Resident Evil one the PSOne, but schooled the Gamecube version ;)
Hey Tim, are all of the videos eventually going to be back on one page like the Link to the Past Super Replay? It gets frustrating flipping through so many pages. I've been enjoying this super replay so far and I'm excited to see the future episodes.
I love resident Evil 2....second best one in the series behind resident evil 4
These super replays are awesome. Is there a way you guys can increase the brightness of the video capture? Maybe it's just me but when you guys play a dark toned game i have to jack up the brightness on the screen all the way to see anything
Yay, Part 3! And with Ben! He's hilarious!
I'm sure if I remember this right, but I think if you play as Claire first, then Leon doesn't get shot.
Tim I made the same mistake with the B scenario. When I played as Claire the first couple times I kept starting a new game rather than starting with the B scenario. I remember reading the S.D. Perry novel and thinking, "What the heck is MR. X?" Then I finally went back and figured out scenario B and it felt like I had missed an entire game.
Back tracking in games like Resident Evil and Metroid is more fun because there is still tension mixed with exploration. When a game like Halo does it all we're going to see is the same enemies. Maybe the place is exploding when it wasn't before but the tension isn't there. The knowledge of "I can use a new item or power up I just found." isn't there.
Another great one.
i love super replay bit#hes
Super Replays should be on TV. 'nuff said.
I think it's safe to say that you are going to surpass Dan and breeze through this game like nothing. Can't wait for the conclusion.
-Saw the video of Brad Vickers on Youtube. I guess he carries some kind of key, but I have no idea what to. Odd thing is though, I thought he dies in RE 3, after the events of RE 2. I gotta look up the timeline on that.
-Yeah, for the first RE, I always saved the Magnum Rounds for the Tyrant at the end, or when I ran out of other ammunition (HG, SG, and GL).
-The enemy characters from Lost in Nightmares, the Guardians of Insanity had eyes growing out of their backs too...
"my friends call me the 10" desert eagle". lol no matter how dumb a comment that was, i couldnt help but laugh. awesome replay guys, cant wait for tomorrow's.
You guys really need to fix the volume. I could barely hear you guys talk during some parts, its really annoying!
the one that says "you might hit the sample" is HUNK
I've never actually played Resident Evil 1 or 2. I played... Zero, I think it was? But I never beat it. I'm just bad at Resident Evil. D: Still awesome to get to watch a Super Replay of RE2, that's why I love Replay in general. Getting to see games I've never played before, in action. Can't wait for this one to finish, and to see what the next Super Replay will be. ;D *crosses fingers for Super Metroid for SNES*
This actually makes me want to play Resident Evil and I've never even touched one before. Thanks Guys!
