The lights are on
Popping in an old game and talking about our memories is always fun, and that's why it's a blast doing Replay every week. However, some games are so iconic that a simple 20-minute episode just wouldn't do them justice. That's why we're presenting Super Replay, a feature in which we play through the entirety of an all-time great. No edits, no skipped stages, no speeding-up the video...this is the entire game experience, beginning to end.
Naturally, the first game I wanted to do was my favorite game of all time - 1992's Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. This SNES legend perfected the Zelda formula, and many of its conventions are still used today in the series' Wii and DS entries. Take a look below for our Super Replay of Zelda: Link to the Past.
Part 5 (Guest - Ben Reeves)
Part 4 (Guest - Joe Juba)
Part 3 (Guest - Bryan Vore)
Part 2 (Guest - Andrew Reiner)
Part 1 (Guest - Tim Turi)

Loving Super Replay, guys! Watching and listening reminds me of hanging out with my friends as a kid and playing games. Keep it going!
Super Replays ftw! Cinnamon, deku tree, PIPOOOOOOO!!!
I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but when you were talking about the light in front of Link in dark rooms that is the lantern that was the first item you got.
This was awesome!!! I loved using this as my reminder/walkthrough as I have now FINALLY completed A LINK TO THE PAST, utilizing my computer, an emulator and a usb SNES controller! It has been almost 20 years since I had to take the cartridge back to Blockbuster, and I have always regretted not finishing the game. At last, I feel a sense of completion :)
Also, watching this super replay has been sweeter than fine cinnamon! Makes me want to curl up under a Deku Tree with my MacBook Pro and watch more Super Replays!!!!
Bring 'em on!
The Deku Tree emits this weird powder in Windwaker on to the little woodland creatures, it looks like cinnamon to me. But he does'nt do this in Ocarina Of Time?
Love Replays please make so much more, and Final Fantasy Replays. FFVII
Thought I'd come back and watch the original Super Replay after seeing your Super Replay of the original Legend of Zelda , and once again it has been many hours of intriguing gameplay and hilarious commentary. Keep doing what you do, any don't change a thing. Thank you Dan for starting such a great feature for the site. On an unrelated note, I spice my Rum with cinnamon, and age it in my Deku tree barrels. It's good stuff.
Even though I'm pretty late on this, I want y'all to do a super replay of Ocarina of Time (I loved the Deku Tree dungeon) where Reiner bets Dan a cinnamon bun over how fast Dan can complete the dungeon.
Great Super Replay! You guys convinced me to buy this game, Majoras Mask, and some good cinnamon!
Also: The Deku Tree is cool.
You know there is a sort of in-game glitch with the third dungeon boss...
You don't need to go down there and whack him with your sword just throw bombs... or at least time them well. They do the same damage.
Also hasn't anyone ever noticed that the master sword always seems to have some sort of similarity to the Excalibur sword from the King Arthur lore? Or is it just me?
Makes me sad I don't know what happened to my Link to the Past Advance. The game had a nice length to it, it's a shame so much was cut from Ocarina of Time that they went and had to create Majora's Mask separate from the original game.
Is anyone else having a problem where the 2nd video won't work?
Going back and watchin all the replays, they are so awesome. btw guess what i found at super market? Cinnamon roasted deku tree nuts, crazy right?
Macaulay Culkin called andtold me to tell you guys to deliver him some Cinnamon Toast Crunch to his backyard Deku Tree.
Great Super Replay by the way!
This is a fantastic replay. I'm going through the videos chronologically and it is some fun times. After 5 hours of watching these, I could sure go for some Cinnamon Life. Best. Cereal. Ever.
Ocarina of Time is my favorite game in the series. Maybe it's because I'm slightly younger and that game did for me what this one did for Dan. I remember I always got stuck in the basement of the Deku Tree. I never could figure out the puzzles. Now that I'm older, I went back and played it on my gamecube and everything clearer to me and I really enjoyed playing through it competently.
Good job guys! Keep up the good work!
Gosh I really enjoy cinnamon deku tree's.
This morning I had cinnamin and then saw many deku trees.
If you know what I mean.
Also, do more super replays. I love them. I would really like if you continued the metroid prime 1 replay and made that a super replay
