The lights are on
Popping in an old game and talking about our memories is always fun, and that's why it's a blast doing Replay every week. However, some games are so iconic that a simple 20-minute episode just wouldn't do them justice. That's why we're presenting Super Replay, a feature in which we play through the entirety of an all-time great. No edits, no skipped stages, no speeding-up the video...this is the entire game experience, beginning to end.
Naturally, the first game I wanted to do was my favorite game of all time - 1992's Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. This SNES legend perfected the Zelda formula, and many of its conventions are still used today in the series' Wii and DS entries. Take a look below for our Super Replay of Zelda: Link to the Past.

I really enjoyed this on my long hours between classes. I like the idea of doing a Final Fantasy game as a super replay. I don't think the Deku Tree is in any of the FF games, but I'm sure that you could find a bottle of cinnamon in one of them.
Great Super Replay. I actually played the game along side the video as well. Which makes me wonder, does the bark from the Deku Tree taste like cinnamon?
Cinnamon toast crunch and Deku trees. Yummm
Little known fact about cinnamon, it actually comes from the bark of Deku trees. Ever wonder why everything with cinnamon in it tastes so magical?...look it up
Not that your cheacking the comments anymore, but I was one of the people who got Ocarina in the late 2000's, and I loved it.
Cinnamon spice and everything nice? I don't necessarily watch the whole thing, but while playing my first run through wind waker, I listen to the chat both about LttP and others. I only started playing recently and to answer the other question I think it (Ocarina) has aged pretty well, the graphics are not as nice as they must have looked back then (yes I know we are spoiled now) but even for me (a devout FF fan) I think this one (and ocarina) have aged much better then the first FF game. Since I started about a year ago I have beaten LttP (20 hearts) OoT (20 hearts) and MM (20 hearts). Currently on WW 11 hearts. (I started late because TLoZ nes was HORRIBLE without some form of guide, and it left a very bad "taste" in my mouth for the Zelda series. I have since corrected that misinterpretation...)
great super replay and time, wouldn't mind seeing Majora's mask as a super replay
How can you believe that there all the same Link? The maps, items and overall settings are different in each game. Not to mention the look of each Link is different, and Zelda as well.
Still an amazing Super Replay, makes me want to go back and play the game again.
This super replay has convinced me to get this on virtual console and play the heck out of it! :D
This made me want to eat a cinnamon bun, with cinnamon toast cruch, and a bowl of cinnamon oatmeal, while i creat a new digimon called CINNAMON!!!
Unrighteousmon digivolve to...Cinnamon. Think about it. Yeah, lame on so many levels.
Deku trees like to eat bowls of cinnimmon
I love some cinnamon on my deku tree for desert...lol A super replay of Ocarina, Majora's Mask or Wind Waker would make the world a better place, so long as Tim Turi is not at the controls...haha
My first Super Replay was Overblood and I just finished MegaMan Legends, so I decided to some back to watch this. I was thoroughly amused when you Dan said that he would only do the best of the best for Super Replay. WHat happened to that? I guess he's been smoking some of that Deku tree cinnamon.
I think an awesome super replay would be the original Donkey Kong Country, i would love it
Do Deku Trees even like cinnamon? Maybe cinnamon is a spice that doesn't exist in Hyrule.
Deku Trees love cinnamon in the morning.
Its really cool to see how the gameplay elements of zelda games all come back to this one. Also I ate some really good cinnamon toast for breakfast.
