He's gone through hell, and come out the other side. Dominic Santiago steps into the spotlight in today's Gears of War 3 profile.

Dom is the consummate wingman, having followed Marcus Fenix into the deepest holes and darkest places that the world of Sera has to offer. Along the way, he's been forced to face some dark moments, but none worse than the torture and death of his beloved wife, Maria. The months that have passed since then have been hard on the man, but he's no less willing to follow his friends into battle, in the hopes that he won't have to lose anyone else he loves.

Dom's a beast, and that scene in Gears 2 was so moving, I didn't think that series was capable of something like that.

Awesome, Dom is the most interesting right now out of the ones shown. Baird is a cool guy but not giving much of an interesting background.
