Dead Rising 2: Blue Castle Games Tour

While checking out the zombie madness that is Dead Rising 2, we took a quick walk around developer Blue Castle Games’ studio to check out where the magic happens. Blue Castle is like an all-star studio filled with ex-devs from other well-known Vancouver-based studios like EA Black Box and Radical Entertainment. Enjoy this mini-tour with executive producer Rob Barret as he strolls the halls of the studio, talking a bit about their setup and working on the game. And don’t miss more of our Dead Rising 2 content on the DR2 hub!

  • I think all of the people who work there got eaten by zombies or something, because that place was dead.

  • that was the funnest video tour I've been on all day...

  • looks like a fun place! :)

  • I'd like to polay some of those board games with those guys, lol.

  • I noticed that there was a lot of food. A happy programer is a working programer. I like the hack with body parts sheet he showed. the radio costume should be in the game. :)

  • Well looks better than working in nothing but a gray scale office.

  • Mod
Lights off, definitely a dev space! I'd like to take a peak into more dev studios. Could this please become an ongoing thing with Game Informer?

Any else have the problem with the sound being a second or two behind the video?
  • that's cool

  • Am I the only one sick to death of the constant coverage this game is getting?

  • *clears throat excessively* XD

  • I hope this is better than dead rising 1 even though it was awesome

  • How am I stuck managing a warehouse when I could be working at a place like that!?  Oh yeah, I need to go back to college.

  • I want to like dead rising but its timed missions and easy failure are just a constant turn-off for me
