Replay: Zombie Revenge

Zombies, zombies, zombies!!! The undead are all the rage these days, but long before the zombie renaissance Sega unleashed Zombie Revenge in 2000 on the Dreamcast. The game is set in Sega's House of the Dead series, but apparently it's questionable quality held it back from donning the prestigious brand. Join us as a brave young man named Stick fist fights his way through hordes of zombies.

Yours truly hosts this edition of Replay with guests Dan Ryckert, Phil Kollar, and Andrew Reiner. In this episode we answer the tough questions like: what color is zombie blood? What sort of security systems do sewers have? And would Reiner or Dan win a fist fight during the zombie apocalypse? Watch the video below to learn the truth.

  • fantastic as usual!! consider doing the n64/Ps1 game Glover in a future installment. its delightfully weird

  • Yes, Glover was one of my favorite N64 games.  It was beautiful.

  • Syphon Filter should be done next.

  • hahaha i remember playing this at my friends house once. good times haha

  • Lots of laughs.  Another two games I'm not gonna go back and play but certainly enjoyed watching you guys play 'em.

  • Great episode, guys! I'm still waiting for my Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Replay, though! >.<

    =)

  • Rayman Arena for the PS2 would be interesting. :P

  • I always have something to look forward to on Saturdays.

  • Why have I not been aware of this series yet? This is absolutely incredible. Put this on Youtube.

  • Also, try The Neverhood next.

  • i like all the joking, but i kind of wish replay had more informational comments about the game, whether its good or bad, how much it sold, what the strengths and weaknesses of it are, instead of just playing the game and joking about what's onscreen. also, could i suggest the first splinter cell?

  • this replay was pretty brilliant all around

  • I third that, Glover would be awesome. Also an old Capcom fighter or like Puzzle Fighter :)

    @Spencer

We've been trying to do a good mix. Some games are fun to just crap all over (MK: Mythologies), but some are good for more informative Replays (Turok). They're not all going to be "joke-joke-joke" all the time, but we'll have those on occasion.

  • Looks like Maken x was a fairly good game. Should look into the older alien vs. predators and conker.

  • Great Replay, guys.  Japanese games are...weird.

  • The dude in Maken had tree stumps for arms.LOL!

  • i like the "Sega" at the end.

  • For real do sewer shark for the sega cd it was the only game I owned for that and it was so frustrating...but also kind of fun, although I hated that they refused to just tell you the direction and instead gave the directions code names...

  • I second Syphon Filter and Gabes butt wiggle!
