The lights are on
Every so often, while browsing GI's massive vault, I stumble across games that helped define my childhood but that I had somehow forgotten about completely. Blaster Master for NES was just one such game. Radioactive pet frogs? A powerful tank that also jumps? What else could a kid ask for?
Join myself, Matt Miller, Andrew Reiner, and Jeff "The Fav" Marchiafava in looking back to see how well this game that I have such fond memories of has held up. The full video (including a bonus Replay Roulette) is below.

i saw the the legacy review of wild 9. and i was shocked to see it only got a 6.75 you should replay it. i think david spade would have only one word to describe your review of wild 9 (redonkulous)
Looks fun
LOL!
More Replay!!!
Toe Jam and Earl.
I'm impressed they went the whole period without making a "Master Blaster" joke. The first time I read the title of the game, I couldn't help, but to make a joke to myself about it. It did look pretty sweet though.
Going to have to vote for Vectorman on the genesis...that game was awesome
Hey!...Hey!...
Replay request:
Siphon Filter.
Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell are still going strong, but how about a look back at their little brother who started up around the same time back on the PS1?
I'm shocked you guys didn't know there was a sequal to Disaster Report, it was called, "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!...... Hey!" Almost as good as the original. My new facebook quote will be, "My texture feels weird."
Love replay! A good underground title would be Flashback for the Genesis or the sequal Fade To Black on Psone.
HEY!
Love Replay as always. I have one must play game suggestion that I just remembered and helped define everybody's childhood, even if we never have heard of the game. Everybody must have imagined these two icons squaring off in their head at some point and even though the game kind of sucked, it was worth playing just because of the awesomeness factor associated with it. I am of course speaking of...drumroll please...
Robocop vs Terminator! Get to it GameInformer.
looks awesome
You guys have to do Blast Corps! That game was awesome. Oh, and what about Chu Chu Rocket, Jet Grind Radio, or Crazi Taxi? The best of the Dreamcast.
