The lights are on
We always check our comments to see what games you'd like to see
featured in Replay, and this week's selection is one that's been
requested many times. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was released on February
28th of 1997, and was met with critical and commercial success. At this
early point in the Nintendo 64's life, games were scarce and shooters
even moreso. The 64-bit FPS crown was handed over to Goldeneye later
that year, but many gamers still have fond memories of raptor murder
and awkward platforming. Take a look at the newest edition of Replay
below to see how Turok has stood the test of time.

I remember this game! I hated this POS.
i do not remember this game looking that bad...
Tonic Trouble is awesome!!! I loved that game when i was 9
At least you guys don't suck at games like EVERY other gaming website.
SPIRITUAL INVINCIBILITY = BEST pickup of all time.
Joshua Fireseed is the Turok from the second one.
Tal Set, is the name of Turok in the first game.
The worst part, is that the map would reset when you left the immediate area.
The music in this game, namely the music when underwater, is great.
The slow down in Turok 2, unless you changed the graphics, was horrible. Turok 1 runs smoother than the second one.
I JUST sold my N64 and all my games last week.
I played Turok up until last month.
"I couldn't have less of an idea what's happening right now."
"The plots VERY similar."
Banjo Kazooie is a classic.

Could you guys do a Replay of the PSone Spider-Man Game?
wow that game looks TERRIBLE!!!
These are all greatly entertaining replays. Thank you GI for doing this (single tear)
Hey I seriously love these shows you guys put on. I was wondering if you could do either a Jet Force Gemini, or Rocket: Robot on Wheels..because I think the Rocket game would be perfect for this show! Keep adding new ones! AJ
Oh or Space Station Silicon Valley! That was also a game that would be really good!
Turok was such an fun game at the time. The platforming was definitely difficult, and I always used the map as I was playing. I remember imputing a cheat code so I could beat the game... I know, I'm a cheater.
Tonic Trouble... that looks like some bull****.... lol.
Great replay episode.
